well what games do you play? with that GPU you should be able to hit 1080p/1440p at more than 60FPS so having the 144hz monitor will be noticeable. is it necessary? no but it is worth the money i will have to say

this is best all round pc i could come up with http://pcpartpicker.com/list/BFTCLD

im currently running a R9 290 and would love to get a more modern card but with pricing over here it is not justifiable.
-
now thats a perfect monitor for any lan where you want to show of your games
-
im currently using the original K70 cherry MX red. need some of those RGB LEDs to go with the rest of my system
-
i would love the SSD as my laptop is still running a 5400RPM mechanical drive

Kova. I love how it looks, looks like a tank.

well this sucks for people that have bandwidth caps or for example who have terrible download speeds.

Very well. I'm pretty certain the OEM will do testing to ensure it doesn't leak, so the point still stands. Is there a secondly?
They do test them when its in development and they may also test every 1000th or something but not every single one that goes out. You can also look at what happened with the H110i GT when it got recalled as Corsair didn't know about that the cooler couldn't handle sub-freezing temps (yes i know that you cant get those temps but shipping can). every company can only test for so many different things.
The Firstly was to the post not to you.

The chances are very slim. Corsair (and pretty much all AIO makers) will do tons and tons of testing in the worst case scenarios to make sure it does not leak.
EDIT: Pretty much the only way it will leak is if it is damaged when handling it. Out of the factory, it shouldn't leak if it passes QC.
Firstly Corsair does not make any of their coolers. They use the Asetek coolers.
I know that brands like Corsair have very good reputation with this sort of thing, but what are the chances that a, say, corsair H100i CPU cooler will leak and destroy my system? I know some people say that Corsair will replace all your damaged parts, but to be honest, I just don't buy that. It doesn't say anything in their warranty about that and a few of the people on LTT forums have told me that this is false.
The chance of any AiO leaking are slim as they are tested. In saying that not every single unit that goes out is tested so there is still a chance. I say just pick a reputable retailer and you should be good

In all honesty with this monitor and any other 1080p variable refresh rate monitors either G-Sync or Freesync they need to market these monitors to either a GTX 960 or R9 380 as they would get close to capping these out as it is with out the variable rate monitors

you guys realize that these guys always have a premium price on everything they sell no matter what it is for example the 4790k is $560 compared to PCCG which is $490

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
that link will help you make an image for either USB or DVD and upgrade that way
-
will i run into activation issues?
Ok firstly you can not use your windows 7 key for windows 10 as it will say its not a valid key (I know i tried that). what you will need to do is go to this site https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and download the tool and follow the instructions for your windows 10 installer. once you have done that you will have to upgrade your Windows 7 to Windows 10. Once your in Windows 10 you will have to find a way to get your windows key to be able to do a fresh install.
Also note that USB you made for Windows 10 will allow fresh installs so you wont have to worry about getting another USB to get it installed

@BeakTrots Personally I have used that pump and I would suggest you get a better pump since you want to water cool those 2 things. I think that pump is only good for a single rad and block setup

Why an FX CPU? You play games but still use an FX? Unless it is out weighed by rendering and content creation.
There is nothing wrong with the FX line of chips. I know alot of people with either i5 and i7 and my FPS is the same as theirs or just a little lower. In some cases their Intels have been maxed out on all cores while my 8320E is only at 60% at most

the gigabyte boards from what i have heard have bad vdroop which means you have to turn the load line calibration on high to make sure you can get it stable
-
it could be vdroop. that could be a the issue

-snipe-
make sure your advanced graphics setting are turned off as they are a waste of time having them on as they will cripple a 5930k with 980sli to 60fps only. they are worse then MSAA x8 which is something you dont need to have on. have a max of x4
if you can tell us you graphic settings it would help us help you

that link was up way before April 1st so if it is a April fools then they were early

That's about what I have been seeing also, are you finding it hard to match specs too?
i think they would be compareable as they are both 2560x1440 and also 144hz. its just ones Freesync and the other is G-Sync

144hz monitor worth it/ necessary?
