Now here is The final product!!!!

I named the case  "Askos Toy Aioloy" Which is a Greek phrase, and it resembles  a mythical sack that cointained every known wind! andit was given to Odysseus by Aiolos (which is the god of wind) , So the phrase translate to " the bag of Aiolos" , since it houses 5 140m fans and 2 120m along with gpu and psu fans , its a lot of wind inside there

As a pure gaming machine, performance is just fine. I could probably pick up a few frames here and there, but frankly Intel has moved so slow in the last 5 years that any recent i7 is going to be good enough.

I can't give any dates on card releases, but I would expect to see them within the month. Have some patience. I promise the wait will be worth it.

GPU overclocks tend to not be worth it, in my opinion, especially with GPU Boost 3.0. However, if you don't plan on liquid cooling, definitely wait for the vendor coolers. The noise and temperatures will be much easier to live with.

as far as i like crutchfield mainly because they can recommend what fits directly on your vehicle, i would just use the site as a reference first, then look for the exact model of head unit or speaker somewhere else, see if you can save a few extra bucks. because sometimes prices might seem good on crutchfield, but you might find it cheaper somewhere else if you look for it on google. as far as head units go, i say kenwood, pioneer, or jvc are your best bets, and for speakers, i recommend pioneer or jl audio speakers, or if you can afford them, a set of alpine or jbl speakers, those are usually the best out there.

the stereo has its own amp with 4 channels, and unless your car has only those 4 speakers, it should be more than ok for you. and i don't think rounded speakers will fit, because i'm sure your stock speakers are oval, so only oval speakers will fit in the housing. but regardless of shape, normally larger speakers allow for more bass, but mostly depends on the brand.

    Hi guys,

Here it is! The build is nearly done at this point! I shot this just before filling the build up and sending it to PAX.

I also did a video talking a bit about the design and things I did as well as showing how I assemble most of it.

    Hope you guys enjoy it!

I will have some more pics plus the coverage from PAX AU. The build is back home now but I've yet to take final pics and video of it as I ran into some issues with the fan LEDs that I am hoping to fix.

Thanks for checking it out and stay tuned for more!

    Cheers,

I usually share it with friends and family but also post it on here if it's helpful for anyone. I do try to keep it as updated as possible but I am merely human and am just as busy as anyone else during the Holidays. If you have any suggestions or corrections please feel free to make a comment and I'll try to make edits to keep it fresh. It is shared to the public so feel free to share it with anyone else. Enjoy!

This is what I would do based on which monitor/gaming experience you want.

For 4k <45fps, 1440p 60fps, or 1080p 120fps gaming I would use this build... (Replace the EVGA with the HoF)

For 1080p 60fps I would use this build...

    http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QL7NHx

It's seems the 970 HoF is much more expensive than any of the other 970s... so it might not be worth. Unless you can find one. idk.

    --------------

Side note, i havent been adding power supplies to builds, figured you had it covered since it wasnt in your original build post.

    Edit:

we posted at the same time, I'll update my thoughts.

Well the 970 will give you the 60fps in (almost) every game, so there is no issue with the FPS. (Any game that doesn't get 60fps on the 970 will most likely get the same results on the 980 as the difference is only 5-10fps)

That extra $100 will give you about 5-10fps difference in games (video below). So there is a difference, but idk if it's worth the $100. At the same time the 970 Hof is $100 more than the other cards... so that's also even more money... (these are the tough choices man.)

Another difference is the 970 really only has 3.5GB of VRAM. While the 980 has a full 4GB of VRAM.

But, here is a video showing that you don't really need more than 3.5GB with current games... Maybe future games will require more though.

I think you are stuck on having to get the HoF to match the build.

If you are going to go all out, like youre doing with the motherboard and ram, you might as well do it with the Video Card as well.

I say get the 980ti HoF with 6GB of Ram.

For your own personal esthetic/enthusiast look? Yes, if that's what you want, because it looks pretty sweet.

For performance per dollar? No, as it's not giving you better performance for paying more.

And because I'm a brand matching whore... I'd change your Power Supply to NZXT.

    http://pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-power-supply-hale90v2850w

Did you get some answers on which monitor you wanted to get in the forums?

    Edit:

There is a cheaper NZXT but it's only Bronze Rated, not sure if you would like that, so I kept the Gold Rated one. But there is a Bronze rated one that is lower price that would work, and it's NZXT.
