  1. @Dutch-stoner Yeah I realised I forgot to mention that. so what I wanted was the separated bottom compartment like the 900d or sma8, extensive watercooling support. not to g4m3r style. @ItsTheDuckAgain Thanks for your input, I know this doesn't appeal to everyone. Also for the cost effectiveness, Materials only I will be able to get for under €200 (aluminium ~70 and ~90 for the acrylic that leaves me with 40 for screws which seems reasonable to me). Of course including labour this will end up much more expensive than that, but since this is a hobby for me I care about that. Since I have a CNC Router all the panels can be cut automatically, saving me a lot of time. @KazerTheKeen You're right i copied it from another sub forum. Should be fixed now? For the side panel, you mean basically flipping it right? that would work, and I agree with you on that. The mid bar is indeed much thicker than needed, that was because I wanted to make it all out of 45mmx45mm aluminium, but I might change these bars to 20mmx20mm because that is indeed wasted space.
  2. Hey guys, I currently have a Coolermaster Storm Stryker case which i loved and still kinda do, sadly i begins to show it's age. one option was to mod it some more, especially a PSU cover, but I reallt want to just get a new case. after looking for a long time online I really liked the Parvum System L1.0, but for €400,- I wasn't sold on that. I ticks all my boxes but I don't really like the pricetag. So since i have a 3D printer and a CNC router i want to build a case myself. So i've been planning my new case for a while now, and his is what i have come up with. The construction is based on 45x45 aluminium profiles covered with acryllic panels, I managed to find a retailer which sells covered aluminium profiles. this gives the outside a much cleaner look. now I need your advice on my current design. I am affraid that the curved sides make i look too much like a hexgear case. Also if you have any further suggestions please let me know.

  4. Thanks, I tried another sata port, and it worked. The problem is however that is is SATA2 So i'll be looking for a more permanent solution. Do you have any idea how i can fix this SATA3 port?
  5. That looks to be a great mod. Might have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
  6. Hey guys, Today I picked up a used 840 EVO to use in a raid array, I had the exact same drive before and I want to run a RAID 0 array. When I tried to set up the array only one disk showed up as a member disk, the other was listed as incompatible. Then I tried to format both drives using my laptop, this was completed and I had two separate drives, but it still didn't want to initialise the array. Using the windows install disk I ran the diskpart -> clean command, and it returned an error: "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. see the system event log for more information." Now I'm lost and I don't know how to fix this. Can anyone help me? 9. This would make me a great streaming PC. Good luck to you all, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
  10. today I had the chance (finally) to test my GPU in a PC of a friend of mine. the card performed perfectly in his pc, the temperatures even dropped by 20 degrees(both idle and load), while his case isn't even cooled half as good as mine.
  11. Is it possable the psu is bad, because I found some threads on different forums where they suggest the PSU might also be the cause. When i run OCCT PSU test, it crashes. And when i test the parts individualy in OCCT, it does not. Pim
  12. Also my card is reaching 50 degrees when running idle. Is there any posibillity the card is defective?
  13. I have found that the problem might be overheating. Although the card never reaches more then 75 degrees. when i turn my gpu fans to 100%, the problem does not occur. The max temp then is about 67 degrees. Is 75 really to hot?
