  1. Does he know that a 32-bit system can only use 4gb of RAM? The BSOD might be being caused by him having more than 4gb. To properly diagnose it we need to know the BSOD code, it will look something like this: 0x0000001A or 0x00000050
  2. Sapphire for me, got the HD7950 and the R9 280 crossfired and they're both working a treat! (FYI the R9 280 is just a re-brand of the HD7950)
  3. In that case then you should be fine using it as you have it now. I can't imagine that there would be any performance difference between the BIOS RAID and Windows RAID, and it won't be doing any harm to your SSD (like IDE would do). If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
  4. How did you set up your array? Did you do it in BIOS RAID config, or did you set it up in windows disk manager? Usually if you're not using RAID on your boot drive you can set the BIOS to AHCI (especially for SSD's) and then set up a RAID array for secondary disks within windows disk manager. If you set the array up before getting to windows (I think it's ctrl + i when set to RAID mode) I wouldn't recommend changing it back to AHCI mode
  5. Would really like to know the result of this as I've got an X6 1100T BE (sig) and have been eyeing up this upgrade for ages.
  6. Had the 502 errors, but I've managed to get in only to find ALL but one of my subs have gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!one1
  7. Check these guys out. (fortunately) they fit to your budget, and you can make it to whatever you please: http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/
  8. I drove an Aston Martin DB9 last summer, love that car to bits!
  9. SO that's why EE are offering me the GS4 as an early upgrade for dirt cheap... guess I'll have to hold out until this comes out!

    Mouse DPI

Right now I have mine set to 2800DPI, but I turn it down to 800DPI when playing FPS games. In my personal experience it was a complete revelation when I turned it down in games, my accuracy got loads better!
  11. It might be worth you having a look at rocksmith 2014: http://store.steampowered.com/app/221680/?snr=1_7_7_151_150_1. It takes the concept of guitar hero / rock band, but for a real guitar. I don't play the guitar myself, but I'm getting really tempted when I watch youtube vids from this game!
  12. I suppose they would be restricted on what they can do with this firmware / software development, but is it out of the realms of possibility that they can instruct the monitor to only refresh the screen when a complete frame has been rendered, and not for a partial frame? Thus helping (but not fixing) this issue?
  13. Just thinking out loud, would this help towards the frame stuttering issues when x-firing?
