  1. The intention is good but the concept is flawed from the start. You cannot make something that will please everyone for a reasonable price. As mentioned before, everyone has different hands, different grip techniques, different preferences. Smooth surfaces, shiny surfaces, textured surfaces, customizable grips, lights, bling, optical or laser, light weight or additional weights. The list goes on.
  2. Nothing? Nada? Zip? Am I missing any information to help people out? Still looking through older threads for options. Does anyone have an opinion on the Shogun Bros. Ballista MK-I 82?
  3. I've been using a Razer Deathadder (pre 3.5G) since 2011 and it's worked out find but the coating on the top has been wearing for the past 3-6 months and it's gotten to the point where I can't stand the feel anymore. I took my Deathadder 3.5G from home and brought it to work and I'm looking for a replacement mouse for gaming at home. I've been trying different BestBuys for their different mice on display but some I've had to buy & try out. Based on my info below, are there any good recommendations to try from Amazon or NewEgg that might not be at local stores? Peripherals are definitely a "must try" item due to personal preferences. I use a palm grip for daily use and casual gaming (FPS, MMO, all-round) Tested Logitech G502: Love the look and mostly the feel but it's a tad skinny compared to the Deathadder. The texturized grip on the right hand side was too coarse for my ring and pinky fingers. Otherwise this would have won hands down. Returned 2 days ago. Roccat Kone XTD: I still have this one on my desk for testing, bought the day after I got the G502. I love the feel of it and the colors are awesome but the plastic the LEDs shine through gets tacky/sticky with my hands and it's noticeable enough to slightly annoy me. Also, when I was first testing it the edge on the right side was bothering my pinky knuckle. I don't know if I've gotten used to it now or if it'll annoy me later. Those two things are the major drawback for me. Corsair M65: This one didn't even make it out of the store; I tried the display model and I did not like feeling the edge of the material by my ring and pinky fingers. Buttons have great placement otherwise. Logitech G602: I tried this one last night, the overall feel is good but just like the Roccat Kone XTD it has thin plastic strips that separate the textured zones which are tacky/sticky. I clean my hands often so it's not that; just the way my skin and house temperature (low 70* F) are. I wasn't sure about the wireless functionality either in regards to gaming. I returned it today. Not Tested Logitech G700s: I picked up the G602 over the G700s in terms of feel but I think I might like this one since it doesn't have any shiny/plastic pieces on the body like the G602 and Roccat Kone XTD. Again, not sure on the wireless aspect but at least this one can plug in via USB. May try this out if no other options are good. Corsair M95: I've seen videos of this and it looks promising b/c it doesn't appear to have any sharp edges but I could be wrong. Are there any other good mice I haven't tested that I could try locally and return if I don't like? I'm trying to not incur return shipping penalties if possible. Thanks!
