Anybody on here live in New England? I've spent…

No quirks that I'm aware of, though I've lived here as long as I can remember so I could just be used to all of them. Area is pretty diverse and people are usually nice, though tend to keep to themselves. I can't imagine living anywhere else but again, don't have much to compare to.

Live in New England CT. Not too much to need to know, just mainly housing is pretty expensive, though that's not all that unique. Anything in particular you're hoping to find out or?
  3. Been trying to migrate my boot drive to a new ssd and I keep getting the same error code 0xc00000e. I've tried both AOMEI and macrium reflect. AOMEI just doesn't recognize anything on the drive I cloned to, Macrium seemed to recognize that there was an OS but always resulted in the aforementioned error code regardless of whatever fix I tried, IE. the automatic repair tool, some command line prompts to rebuild the BCD and such, etc. Hoping for some other possible ideas or solutions before having to result to a fresh install + having to reinstall everything.
  4. Any recommendations for what software to use for migrating my boot drive to a new ssd? Don't want to have to reinstall windows.
  5. GPU is probably the way to go. Could check around Hardware Swap for a solid deal on a 480/580/1060/other equivalents would be a solid bump. Check Hardware Swap for them, usually have a good deal. Try to find some more details on the PSU to double check it's quality as well.
  6. The 4000 series Ryzen is slated to drop this year. I'd recommend waiting a bit till then.

  8. Here's the forum's PSU tier list. Something B or higher.
  9. For 1080p, the 5600xt video would be a good one to check: Does some talk with the 2060 as well.
  10. It's not wattage that's so much a concern as the quality. The forum's tier list explains it better than I would be able to:

I got a little extra time off this week, which…

Reddit Hardware Swap. Lots of good deals and well regulated and moderated as well.

Have you been checking HWS? Deals are solid there. Got my Vega 56 for $170 off it,
  13. Got it working. The 2600 worked with the other board and the other CPU I had worked with the new board. No fucking clue what was going on, but started putting it together piece by piece and making sure I could get into bios at least.
  14. I do have another board or cpu I could try, but I pulled the CPU being used now from the other motherboard and that was working
  15. CPU is an R5 2600 but was working before. Motherboard is a B450M steel legend and was what I bought
  16. Exact same thing. Powers up, stays on a few seconds, shuts down. Never any signal/never get the chance to try and get into the BIOS
