Pictures of the Fractal Design Define R5 have popped up on a Chinese website http://www.pcpop.com/doc/pic/003319063.html (imgur album http://imgur.com/a/KlEaU/)
So far there have been no other news concerning the case but the photos do look really legit
Will update once there's more news

Fuzzy112 reacted to EmeraldFlame in Nobody needs 8GB Vram.
Just like no one 'needed' hard drives bigger than a few GBs 20 years ago.
Just like no one 'needed' more than 1GB of system RAM 10 years ago.
Just like no one 'needed' a car with great gas mileage 30 years ago.
Just like no one 'needed' a computer at all 40 years ago.
Just like no one 'needed' central heat and air conditioning in their caves in B.C. times.
Heck, we don't 'need' a lot of things. We do 'want' them though, and seeing as most people here are enthusiasts (or up-and-coming enthusiasts), we have demands that far outpace what the typical consumer has. There are a lot of situations that require bigger frame buffers, even 8GB ones. Many surround set-ups, even at 1080p, 1440p, or 1600p easily max out the 4GB frame buffers we have today. And you keep dismissing 4k, and all I am wondering is why. 4k is the next up and coming standard, it it WILL need bigger frame buffers to hold the assets for it. Even though, debateably, 1 card can't run 4k smoothly VRAM doesn't stack when you use SLI/Crossfire. In an SLI/Crossfire config, the frame buffer has to be replicated between the two cards, so if you have 2 4GB cards, you don't have an 8GB frame buffer, you have 2 4GB frame buffers that are identical. In hard drive speak, it's a RAID 1 between the card's frame buffers, not a RAID 0. So if someone wanted to get into 4k gaming, or 4k video editing, or 4k anything, these bigger frame buffer cards will be needed.

Fuzzy112 got a reaction from Speedbird in How to install an OS (Win 8) and drivers like manufacturer
Use sysprep.exe after you've installed all drivers and other programs. The next time it boots it will ask for all the settings again but the drivers and programs should be there

Fuzzy112 got a reaction from Mr.Sommer-Hansen in Do you need 3000 RPM fans?
Way too overpriced and loud fans IMO. There are many other pressure optimized fans that perform well enough at around 800-1000RPM to keep your CPU cool
I would recommend looking at Scythe Gentle Typhoon or Grand Flex fans

It would be the best version of the H440 without the Razer branding. Why didn't NZXT make a full black version of the case?

Fuzzy112 got a reaction from C3DMaX in Anyone seen or tried a PS2 HTPC?
You could most definitely fit a mITX or even maybe a mATX mobo in there. A GPU should be possible with a flat ribbon cable PCI-E riser. Rest is up to you
PSU probably needs to have the enclosure of it removed or use an external power brick or something to fit inside

Fuzzy112 reacted to FizzyFantom in WINRAR password remover
I agree with this. These "password removal" programs simply brute force the password until they get it. Some use a masked brute force where some of the pasword is known, or a dictionary attack. This is the only way to open the archive as the data inside is encryped.
You may find it works for simple paswords like "1357" where it can brute force up to 4 chatacter fairly quickly, but your success depends on who made the password. If it's from a very knowledgable person who really understands passwords and encryption you might as well give up, but that's for you to judge.

Fuzzy112 got a reaction from Sharif in water cooling gpu w/ h60
Uhh yeah...there's no cooling at all for the other components of the GPU like the VRM and memory modules, other than the airflow of your case...which I doubt is enough since they don't probably even have any heatsinks
