Sometimes you gotta just say:  What's the point?  ...and let people vent.  Better here, than "out there".

I argue aggressively here.  Being that I have argued plenty coupled with the fact I am human, I am sometimes wrong.  When I do get proven wrong, I apologize... then thank the individual that corrected me.  I see this as easy and, in my case, lazy.

Many here are smarter than me in many areas, and use patience to carefully argue their points.  I would recommend following that path, as I try to do... sometimes unsuccessfully.

Pssst, Intel will improve in the near future as well.

    Ryzen performance is decent.

sometimes happens to me, it clears up when i remove the @ and retype it in
example: @randomnamehere doesn't work, i remove @randomnamehere in its entirely and type in @randomnameshere

It's not about the fact that yes, he likely caused life long pain and injury to some of those people, but rather, about him coming to terms with what he has to do, and how he keeps his humanity.

Everyone has a moral line they won't cross. Some people will put that line at "not killing innocents", others will extend it to children, others to women and children, and others will not willingly kill at all.

Batman is another example, of someone who "traditionally" doesn't like killing. Same with Superman.

Though there are plenty of examples, especially in the older comics, of Batman killing the fuck out of people. Personally, I like the older, grizzled Batman who kills when necessary.

I personally don't prefer my "heroes" to be all self-righteous about not killing. I understand why DareDevil does it, but I honestly wish he'd just kill some fools, sometimes.

Should have called the video "AMD Ryzen 5 and 3 simulated", 90% less complaining.

I will pull an offended-LTT-viewer and pretend that I'm surprised that this is a "killer argument" in the eyes of someone dumb enough to believe they had R5s and R3s.

That's a far more valid concern: the title would become misleading once the CPUs are out...
That, however, is not: anyone watching the video will know the same we know: that they are testing a tweaked 1800x. So no "misguided" purchase possible there. The title will become misleading, the content will not.

It's been two weeks and we're still going strong! Before the liquid metal I used Noctua and MX4 TIM on my delidded die. Any thermal benefit I would have gotten from this would be looooooooooooooong gone by now.

Linus really ought to redo the video about this.

I also just made the switch to a blower style cooler which I think might improve my cpu temps since I'm using an MITX case.

looking at your part list...you are blowing way to much money on RAM...this SSD...and the motherboard man...and you skimp on CPU...i think it's not a good idea...you could get a lot more performance for less money.

check this out...you can have a core i7-7700K (beast CPU) with your same memory, this SSD is fast, i have one...it's plenty fast...i also have this cooler...it looks really nice and it has RGB lighting...very quiet...top notch quality...your RGB RAM...nice motherboard...etc...and...a GTX 1080...this case has including light strip RGB already with bottom lighting and stuff....all you need to complete the built is a single 120mm RGB fan for fancy exaust lighting...boom...this computer will look sick...it's 150$ cheaper, and you get the core i7 and a GTX 1080...this will DESTROY your other build:

"Consumers wanted faster memory, so here we are working on that. This is 2933 vs 2133". Unless they made 2933 work with 2DPC, this removes the last ounce of hope I had for this IMC getting fixed. We already have 2933 on Ryzen 7 in 1DPC. We even have people running 3200-3400 with single rank, 1DPC setups. I feel like AMD is mocking us at this point x.x

They might not get "fixed" it for a while... they might not get done it until the next CPU launch (Zen2/whatever).  It has to be a concern for them.  The vid was showcasing less than what we already know on these forums.

You know IMCs better than I.  I still have hope that the IMC can be fixed, if not... 2DPC is the only way to get the most out of the platform.

I could almost stomach 2DPC not working, but the fact that multi-rank kits have to be crippled in order to even post, bothers me greatly. Rank Interleaving is a boon I benefit greatly from. If I have to cripple the clocks and timings to get rank interleaving, then it completely defeats the purpose of having it. If they'd give us access to those timings, I know for a fact that we could fix it, or work around it. It's the only thing I ask from AMD at this point.

I know this-AMD's had shit IMC for a while (dual channel DDR3 1333 with an A8 4555M as slow as dual channel DDR3 800 with an i5 470UM)
