It's crazy to thing lots of games have had whole life cycles, while SC is still in development!!! lolll

But then, to be fair, some MMORPG have seen 5-8 years of development!! (Elder Scrolls online was 7 years if I remember right and FFXIV was also 7 years, while WoW was 5 years)

I already feel it was a win when people convinced Luke/Slick to remove the special forum section dedicated to it, even if he was a huge fan of the project it really didn't seem the best idea ever promote what becomes every day more and more a controversy.

@Princess Cadence that section is still there though...

@firelighter487 Nowadays it is *inside* the PC Gaming section, it may still have a sub-section of its own but that's just because there was lots of specific dedicated threads.

Before it had a whole section of its own in the Video Games forum, which did trigger so many people, I remember for a good few months last year before the change when there was no news on the game itself we'd only have every few days users making new threads there complaining or qq'ing or simply 'hating' on the game...

That extra visibility was doing more harm than good and when it lost its placeholder to be placed inside PC Gaming things did improve.

That's the main reason we moved that section inside PC Gaming, it was getting "bad" threads and rants for simply existing.

We couldn't merge the section with the PC Gaming section without causing issues, and that's why it's still a sub-section.
