  1. Ok so my worry is, I have recently purchased new ultra wide monitor, new mount to accommodate 3 monitors. After about a month I've started to hear sort of loud ticks/clicks after about 20 minutes to an hour after use. Now my mind says it's just the heat dissipating n the plastic is shrinking n expanding, but another part of me screams it's all gonna fall down!!! I do check the bolts etc are still tight and I have noticed the bottom monitor has gotten lower needs readjusting. And to top all of this off, it's a desk clamp style stand for the 3 monitors which is attached to a tempered glass desk. Mounts etc are good for 15kg per monitor. But is it worth investing in a new way to mount these monitors in this configuration? Here's a link to the monitors ok n question. Edit: bottom is a Samsung CHG90 49 inch 2 at the top are benQ xl2430T and BenQ 2450HM respectively
  2. yeah usage on everything is an issue, im running CPU - 4790k @ 4.5Ghz GPU 2x MSi 6G GTX 980 Ti @ 1700Mhz core clock, & 3605Mhz memory RAM - 32GB (4x8GB) G.Skill ares 1600Mhz all on a water cooling loop, and even @ 1080p all settings on highest but no AA, blur or bloom, my entire system was cooking, CPU reached 89 celcius, both GPU's hit 85 Celcius, even the water temp went upto 67 Celcius, and my system power usage went as high as 610.7Watts. although playing for 4 hours at this point, but even than GTA V @1080p with extended settings maxed too, didnt use that much power nor did it cause any temps to go over 60 celcius. also average room temp is 13-16 celcius (its 9 celcius right now as i left the windows open over night.)

  4. After about 3 days of potentially fixing this issues its back. Altho i have noticed the Vcore voltage changed when initial start up and after if set it to the right profile in the BIOS.
  5. Pc has been on over night, 9 hours were under gaming loads ( Battlefield 4 single player ultra 1080p + Borderlands: the presequal 1080p highest + PhysX on high on 2 different screens) However i turned it off before i done my stupid 4 hour shift at work today, came home. it turned off after 5 minutes and 8 seconds and rebooted as usual, bringing up the boot failure screen dispite having time to log into WoW and was already in a dungeon before this happened.
  6. so far its stable idle temp is 39*C room temp 24*C. CPU clock is 4398.8Mhz
  7. I think i found the issue, Ram clocks after a standard boot up was 10/11/11/30 Now with XMP and Manual clock speed 1600Mhz (instead of auto @ 1333Mhz) RAM clocks are 10/10/10/30 http://puu.sh/f1pdl/2e6290b938.png dont know if that would cause issues. but its a shot in the dark.
  8. RAM is already at 1600Mhz without XMP on
  9. Othis might be a longshot but could it be the RAM XMP profile? i know my RAM support it but with my current settings that is turned off, and the settings on original boot up a XMP profile is active. the RAM i have is. G.Skill F3-1600C10Q-32GAO http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-1600c10q-32gao
  10. When my PC boots up orignally its 4.4Ghz on CPU, GPU is stock and RAM is 1333Mhz. other than that its exactly the same. I think this could be the issue, as those are settings I've never seen nor have i set myself, But then my old build with an AMD FX 8350 the ASUS mobo auto OC'd the CPU to 4.7Ghz. without me even realizing until about 3 months after setting it up as it wa smore of a budget build at first.
  11. Yes, Ive run benchmarking software for a little over 3 hours (prime95 blend test), played multiple games spread over 3 monitors on highest settings(BF4, Dragon age inquisition, Borderlands: The pre-sequal [PhysX on high] and streamed it at 1080p 60 FPS 5000Kb bitrate, all at once to give it a sort of real world homebrew stress testing. While at the OC settings and stock settings, only difference seen is about 10 to 20 FPS per game, and temperatures reaching a maximum of 67*C / 153*F (room temp is about 16*C / 61*F) Also yes im 100% sure im running the latest BIOS update that was the first thing i checked. (Version F5 for gigabyte Z97X-SOC)
  12. Yeah no issues at all. even if i dont touch the BIOS settings and just save & exit,
  13. i dont think it is a PSU issue, the kicker is, I am able to do anything and everything on 2nd boot. including OC to 4.7Ghz on my 4790k, Ram staying at 1600Mhz and my GPU clock speed @ 1302Mhz. and play for hours upon hours at those settings? also if it was a bad board or other hardware issue, sure i couldnt do any of that?
