  1. Hello everyone, As the title says, I have a problem with my Sensei RAW. I need to use the engine for my mouse (thingy used to change the lightinging, dpi, color, macros, etc) and, to do that, I need to update the firmware of my mouse. However, that update fails, showing my mouse as disconnected as soon as I click to update the firmware. The light below the scroll wheel starts to blink rapidly. Here's what I tried so far: 1. Changing USB ports (tried many ports both USB 3.0 and 2.0) 2. Uninstalling old mouse drivers 3. Using the Firmware Update "fix" program (crashes at 11% with the message"cannot open bootloader device"). Same effect as the firmware update. 4. Using an older computer. I've seen in this thread (which didn't solve my problem either): that one person had to plug it into another computer with an older OS. So I did that with the oldest thing I've got (windows 7), but to no avail. 5. Finally I contacted the steelseries support. No help there. Just generic answers and, as I kept pushing for some actual help, no more replies... 6. Asking on ltt forums. Hopefully that one works. So, yeah... I'm kind of out of ideas here. Sure, one of the solution would be to buy a new mouse. But, being low on money, I'd rather try to avoid doing that. Has anybody else encountered this problem? If so, how did you fix it? I'm out of ideas ^^' Thank you very much, Tsumego
  2. Thanks a lot for the answers, guys. I must admit that I was pretty sure the Z313 was the best option. However, I've seen a bunch of people complaining about Logitech as a company, hence making me doubt the purchase. There will always be haters, sure. But I was mostly scared that there was some truth behind these comments.
  3. Hi! I'm pretty sure this question has often been asked, but I couldn't find it in the forum. Therefore, I apologize if this question is being asked too often. Essentially, I'm looking for a set of speakers. I'm no audiophile (even though I like good sound) and I'm on a budget. I can't afford to put more than 100$ and if it was cheaper than that, my wallet would be happy. Since I never really owned anything aside from cheap speakers that came with the premade computers, it's hard to know what the good brands are and what the good models are. I'm looking for either a 2.0 or 2.1 setup that I'd use in my room. Since I listen to metal and classical music, I prefer something that is constant (bass, mids and highs) over a unit with excellent bass and poor highs (or excellent highs and poor bass). I did some reasearch and found some units that seemed good. I'll be using them mostly for music listening and for watching movies. I'm not interested in composing or throwing parties with those. They're mostly for personal use. - Creative T12 (70$) - Logitech Z200 (40$) - Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 (60$) - Logitech Z313 (40$ on sale, 60$ usually) As you can see, I tried to keep it more towards the 50$ rather than the 100$, but if you guys tell me it's better to invest a little bit more, then I'll find a way to get that money. What would you guys's recommendations be? Thank you a lot in advance and I'd like to apologize if I miswrote some words/sentences. English is not my first language so I'm trying my best ^^ P.S: Like Linus, I'm canadian so the prices are in CAD and not in USD, so if you find the same speakers for less in USA, it's not necessarly available here.
  4. The t40s are at the same price because they're on sale. Maybe I'll grab them while they're there. I agree with you that there aren't many brands of speakers here. I looked up on internet for review and stuff but the speakers never were available here
  5. It's that time of the year again... After chrismas, here comes the boxing day. I plan on taking advantage of the lower prices to build a brand new computer. However, I have no clue what I'm doing when it comes to speakers... Hence why I'm asking you guys some help. I've looked at a lot of Linus's videos, but he only covers very expensive speakers. I have constraints that prevent me from getting some 300$ speakers. - 100 CAD budget (lower price than that if possible) - No sound card in the computer - Either a 2.0 or 2.1 set I was looking at http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836116043 (Creative T20 II) for the 2.0 setup and http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121036 (Logitech Z523) for the 2.1 option. However, the T20s are very expensive compared to the speakers on the american newegg (which are about half of the price) and I'm not sure if they're worth the price. Are the T20s worth it? Are the Z523 simply a better option? Or did I completely missed good speakers around that price point? EDIT: I will be using those speakers for gaming, movies and music listening... Not that I know if it makes a difference...
