  1. Honestly I dont even know why they are doing this, its not like their cameras are bad. Its like a straight A student cheating whats the point.
  2. 397 can sod off with their pricing imo they are going too far, yeah its accurate and likely fun but the models are pathetic and the sounds are questionable, the shaders on sebring at catastrophic.
  3. to save money, im below minimum wage thanks to being an intern, the price of the game is over a days wage
  4. Honestly im gonna wait until its a deep sale, trouble I have is ill think its great, play 10 hours and never touch it again, happened with dirt rally, happened with dirt 4, wrc 7, gravel, doki doki literature club and vrally 4 I just sadly get bored of rally a bit too quickly to be interested, perhaps ill be a bit more hyped if there are some nice dlc cars especially for the rgt class.
  5. Epic also has a lot fewer features to cater for, there is a lot of stuff steam has to deal with, all the reviews, all the screenshots, artwork, pictures, mods, curators, leaderboards, forums etc etc . All that takes up space and bandwidth. Epic simply have less to pay for at the moment. Out of all of those discord and GOG are likely most at risk. Steam, Origin & Uplay will be fine, steam has the brute force of the vast majority of pc games on it, origin has the steady stream from access and EA games are popular, uplay can survive off its own games as well and I expect them to got subscription based in the future as well. Sadly at the moment I dont think epic is going to fail, they have too much funds to unless people are very patient which I doubt very highly they will continue the brute force tactic, this being said I dont have the best history at predicting the future, I hope Epic fail however I dont think they will, there are too many people that dont give a crap that about having 50 launchers.
  6. Well its cheaper then the eos r at least here in the uk so it seems about right
  7. if tis 4000mah or higher then I think it will not be an issue, my mate has the huawei Mate 20 pro and the battery life can go two days even with pretty heavy usage, hes the type of person that just leaves everything on and maxs out the brightness even in the dark so I was certainly very impressed. I think this sort of feature could become very popular. Since huawei already supports this with their phone and wireless buds we would probably use that as a reference to see what this samsung product will be like.
  8. Honestly that "X OEM sells shit" circlejerk is pretty annoying. There are two ends where everyone is crap, the cheap side and the gaming side. Cheap stuff requires cutting corners, gaming stuff has always been overdesigned or has a large mark up. The stuff in the middle is fantastic in my experience, the xps laptops are outstanding, their non alienware gaming laptops are priced pretty competitively and are very easy to repair and or upgrade. At the end this is my personal experience, I set up a lot of dell business laptops, ive dealt with their whole range and I can say the same for HP. The quality of OEM products(mainly laptops) has drastically improved in the past ten years, cheap stuff not as much as corners have to be cut if they want any profit at all but people use some crap £300 laptop and expect it to match the quality of something from apple which is very wishful thinking. Yeah desktops are way more expensive then making it yourself but its not a surprise, DIY is always cheaper(well with intel prices these days im not sure anymore). Im not sure if quality control and customer service is worse in the US and Canada, ive seen a lot of videos which justifiably make OEM seem horrible but here in the UK they seem so much better in every way. For example the loose or disconnected cables shown in many videos last year, ive dealt with hundreds of desktops from various OEMs and never seen that before from bottom of the barrel £250 rubbish to £6000 CAD machines. Its just one guys opinion though, I think its certainly not as bad as it used to be.
  9. I cant justify 21:9 yet, I feel like there are just way too many games that dont support it yet and i dont they will until the amount of people using that format drastically increasing which I dont see happening for a while.
  10. Honestly the biggest thing for me was price, I just cant afford to own an iphone, I cant afford to own a last gen or the gen before that of iphone. I had to bust my ass to buy my first phone last year which was a Honor 10 for £280. So my first smartphone was the Iphone 3GS but that was stolen and I got a Samsung galaxy S2, changed to a Galaxy S3 which was a hand-me-down from my brother, I then got my mums HTC one M8 and then the S6 edge she replaced that with. The battery life was what made me move to the Honor 10 mainly. I had what I needed as well, a decent screen, a nice body, headphone jack and was not crazy expensive. For someone like me on a catastrophic wage thats all that matters at the moment, it does what I need it to at a nice price. Everyone I know thinks its an iphone though.
  11. Man times have changed, they used to be one if now the biggest companies in youtube, they were everything when it came to gaming, every big youtuber was partnered with them. But then those people moved on and they never really recovered.
  12. Tried on my own honor 10 and couldnt get it to unlock with quite a few pictures at various qualities which is good i guess.
  13. They probably arrested him because the flag on the floor was a union jack instead of the chinese one.
  14. So as ive not tried ACC for a while I thought I should give it a shot as some new cars and tracks have come out. Im seriously impressed, back when i tried the huracan when it first came out I was quite annoyed with how it would go from 0 to 100 in oh shit factor causing you to spin out very suddenly and unexpectedly with zero chance of recovery, that factor is sorta there still however its a lot more clearly defined as to why that happened and now you can quite consistently recreate those spin outs or boundary cases which makes it a lot easier to understand the limits of the cars, I still find the huracan by far the most skittish which to my understanding is a reflection of reality based on how much the real drivers seem to complain about it. Even with their complaints though it is very fast, to me its one of those cars which you think you are doing bad in because you dont always get a smooth run but then you check the laptimes and you are killing it. On the other hand is the 488, man its just so easy to do everything, if there was a difficulty level with the cars I'd place this as easiest so far and holy crap the sounds. Now I've listened to thousands of hours of samples hundreds of which the public will never see, it is to the point where I can identify the samples used in game. There is two trains of thought when it comes to car sounds in games, there is sound realistic and then there is trying to sound cool. ACC nailed both and I'd say they have done it best meaning yes better then Raceroom, it least on the interior, in the case cam it's still done via algorithm. While GT Sport's explosive backfire is done badly its still vastly better then what everyone else has done off the throttle however ACC is the first game to get the tranny correct off the throttle. I'm sure some of you are surprised I'd rate it higher then raceroom but the issue raceroom has is first unnecessary sound and going too far with asset sharing especially the turbo. Im not sure about the bentley yet though, ive not really driven it much in either title and I haven't heard many samples of it yet since I don't like it at all but I have a feeling that RR and ACC will be trading blows in terms of who has done the sounds better and I think everyone benefits this way. RR now has some proper sound based competition but its not really a case of asking them to do better, that is a very hard thing to do at this point, both titles are extremely close to the real versions at this point so now the winner is going to be based on one of them either making a mistake or coming down to the ear of the beholder(sounded better in my head).
  15. Yeah I do wonder where all those furrys will go.
  16. This is lovely and all but seriously Nintendo how about adding some much needed features for the other 99.9% percent of users on your platform. They need to get their priorities in check.
  17. Im not about to complain about anything that will increase my battery, reduce the stain on eyes after worryingly long sessions of whatever im doing and just be dark which in general is nice
  18. banned for........not London?
  19. Yep and unsurprisingly a lot of the sim racers a month or so ago said the game was trash as a result, the Huracan has been known for a while that its currently one of the harder GT3 cars to drive, its unstable due to the lower mechanical grip compared to its rivals and splitter which is prone to aero stall which isnt a curved plane. Note how it goes inwards, there is a lot of debate as to why they decided to go with this decided to go with this, the main argument I saw which that its for strength as the gallardo was prone to losing its splitter over drivers getting a bit too ambitious over apexs or caterpillars. This design while stronger is not as efficient I wonder if this was even an issue but then I saw the gallardo gt3 and i understand their point. In case its not clear yet the splitter goes far too much, this means its more likely to hit something as it will not be raised above objects until the front tyres go over said object. Onto the new car you can see it now has a single curved plane and the better defense that just about everyone is using now which is curved front spiltters, they are stronger, pretty good at deflecting rocks which prolonges the life of the front rad and increases the efficiency of the rear diffusers. A little less air will go into the front rad but its really not an issue. In the end though none of this matters because of bop
