  1. At this moment nothing is certain. Wait for the product to release and don't make you buying decison based of rumors. Just wait and see.
  2. For testing purpose it would be great if you reload an old save and do the quest again to see if the bug occurs again. What does you setup look like, got any mods installed? There are no known vanialla issues specified to this quest.
  3. Thanks for the info. Let's wait and see for proper benchmarks. Very interested how the cpu will perform.
  4. So I was just browsing for new notebooks and I found this ASUS one. Is this new info (especially the cpu and clock) or old news? ASUS ROG Zephyrus G GA502 https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-Zephyrus-G-GA502/ A Ryzen based thin and light with an Nvidia 1660ti... I original found the notebook on the portal Geizhals (https://geizhals.eu/asus-rog-zephyrus-g-ga502du-bq015t-90nr0213-m00610-a2042348.html) It's up for preorder starting at 1299€ with the following specs: Could this be the start of "high performance" thin and lights with ryzen and nvidia? If the cpu performance is top this would be a serious good deal, wouldn't it?
  5. Maybe add that Microsoft has quit the tile service and they fogot to delete the dns entry which allowed the takeover? Doesn't match comunity guideline.
  6. Could you write that again since me not understanding the english you say. What do you want to do? What have you done? What is the problem you have? Thanks
  7. Does it also stutter while performing a benchmark like Unigine ?
  8. Do you have a 144hz monitor? I got the same issue and can fix it by changing my monitor to either 120hz or 165hz. Nvidia has some weird issues going on right now with high refresh rate and or hdmi connection. You could also try to install a older version of the driver.
  9. Doesn't sound a lot like a GPU issue. You say the mouse and keyboard LEDs turn off? They usually don't care if the gpu quicks duty. If you have any audio playing does the audio continue to play or "freeze" or stop? If yes then it most likely is not a gpu issue. Generic questions incoming: - You installed any updates / programs in the last two days? - Did the usual (driver update / reinstalling) - Is it possible for you to reinstall windows for testing?
  10. Installing windows on any drive letter that isn't C is not a good idea. Some legacy dependencies will hurt you at some point. To solve your Steam issue you could try to start the download, pause it, copy the game files over to the new directory, continue the download.
  11. Build looks good. Personally I would still choose the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro but at this point it's just personal preference. Well the only thing I can think of to make it cheaper is to wait. At least 'til the end of next week as AMD will most likely say something about the next gen of Ryzen. Even if there will be no massive improvements with the next gen the prices of current gen will likely go down a bit further.
  12. The fans are most likely dc controlled and don't get enough voltage below 30% to start up properly. If you want a 0 rpm mode I suggest setting the second "point" in the curve to 36c and set the temp hysteresis to 3c.
  13. I would make a few changes: I wouldn't buy that motherboard because (no USB-C, "weak" looking power delivery, not the best audio chip) I would suggest the "Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro" or "ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming" I never heard of that ssd brand and the hard driver is listed at 150$ ?? I would change the ssd to something like "Corsair Force Series MP300" I'm not a fan of XFX. They are not bad but IMO their cards are really noisy and hot. I would, personally, buy the "ASUS Dual Radeon RX 580 OC" You should also go with a higher watt psu. Your system will consume > 350W under full load. I would suggest "be quiet! Pure Power 10 500W" or "be quiet! Pure Power 11 600W" As for the Windows licence. I transferred my OEM licence to 3 different systems now and I only had to do the activation through the service hotline. You don't actually speak to an employee you just type the licence info into your phone and a computer voice will "talk" to you.
  14. Games were actually good fun. Current releases are just recycling the same franchise over and over again, no real innovation. Games are just made to earn a quick buck and are left to rot a week after release. All the micro transaction, lootboxes, """dlc""", and memefication (this is a word now) made the games really flat and boring and quite stupid. Hardware wise: SLI is no longer a thing and everything needs to be super flashy. Back in the days we called stuff "girly" if it was super colourful and shiny.
  15. Spec wise I would choose the HP. GSync Thunderbolt Bigger battery SD Card reader But I would buy the Lenovo because Two ram sticks (2x 8gb) instead of one 16gb 2 TB hdd (depends on the config I guess) A bit lighter and smaller looks much better
  16. I blame it on the game / devs. Some people have massive issues other runs super smooth. A friend of mine I5 6600, 16GB, RX 480 can't get a stable 60 on 1080, low. My notebook 6700hq, 16GB, 1060 mobile runs perfectly 70-80 at 1080, medium. The only thing I noticed that causes stutters is the resolution. Make sure that you not only select the "right" resolution of your monitor but also the refresh rate of it. At default it's always set to 59 HZ.
  17. So I can't use any of the 400 driver version from nvidia as I get a lot of stutters on desktop when watching videos (browser or local) or just taskmanager is open and the performance tab is displayed. However I can play video games just fine not stutter what so ever. The lag spike is nearly every 2 seconds and repeats for around 5 seconds. For the past month I just stayed at the driver 398 which worked perfectly fine. But I have to update since Forza Horizon 4 requires it. Already did the usual: Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. Uninstalling with ddu in safe mode. Maximum performance is selected in the control settings. Turned gsync of for testing. Anyone with the same experience? OS is W10 1803
