  1. Could be the 2080ti but since you’ve said your pc crashed as well until you installed chipset driver it might not be the gpu. The Windows Kernel event 41 means that the system was shutdown unexpectedly (on simple terms: it crashed) but it doesn’t specify why. Has nothing to do with power management despite the name. To get a bit more info about the crash you could download and run whocrashed (can be found here https://www.resplendence.com/downloads ) This tool will search for any crashlogs on your pc and displays them in a usable format. If no info can be found I would suggest removing the gpu and run of the onboard grafics. This could rule out both of your gpus. Reinstall chipset driver, check all connectors if everything is plugin correctly. If you have a spare harddrive, swap them, install windows on the spare driver and check again. Could rule out any software issue.
  2. Code 43 is unfortunately a very generic error. It just means there was some error with the device and windows disabled it or went into a sort of failsafe mode. You say the issue exist on other systems as well. With the same windows and driver version? Also have you tried installing an older driver? Found here https://www.nvidia.com/drivers/beta
  3. Ah i see. An active adapter. What res are you running? Not 100% positive if you need and active adapter for 1080p 144hz but it surely wont hurt. I never used one so I cant guaratee that 144hz will work. Dont see why it shouldn't.
  4. Yes, don't do this. Running nvidia and amd gpus in the same system is a bad idea. Yes it can work, but it's a pain to get working. The cards will never work together. A dvi-d to Displayport adapter is 10$/€ on Amazon. What are you looking at thats 40$?
  5. Just go for it. It's not like ryzen chips overclock super far or so. If im not mistaken 4.1 - 4.3 was kinda the max possible regardless of temps.
  6. That is rather the performance uplift from the 2070. While the asus cards are a good choice, at this point I would also suggest looking at the 2080 founders edition + corsair block. At my place I can get the founders edition from nvidia directly for 740€ (~100€ less than the asus model). If I'm not mistaken the nvidia cards are higher binned (better oc).
  7. As for the founders edition I only found a full cover block from alphacool (Alphacool NexXxoS GPX - Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060/2070 (Super) M01) or Corsair (Hydro X Series XG7 RGB-20). If you would go for ASUS or EVGA you'll get a wider choice of blocks. Haven't had much luck finding one for the msi card.
  8. Only in WWZ or other games as well? Did you run any stability / benchmark test (eg. Furmark, Aida64, any Unigine benchmark) all at the same time to fully load the system? If not, do that to verify system stability. If it's only in WWZ I would recommend reinstalling that (if you haven’t already) and download and install the latest audio and chipset driver your mainboard manufacturer provides.
  9. v sync is not gsync. V-Sync will limit the fps to the refresh rate of the monitor (eg. cap at 60 or 120). Gsync changes the monitor refresh rate to whatever fps you have. Vsync will always limit your fps and sometime introduce some micro stutter. You do that. Just make sure to fully uninstall the driver. Use the tool ddu if you dont trust the nvidia uninstaller. I would also advise to disconnect your internet after uninstalling (before restarting the system) so windows doesnt auto install a driver. Then install the latest driver without internet connection.
  10. Could you teach me that magic on how g-sync got enabled? If you don't have a gsync monitor connected the driver shouldn't even show you the option to en-/disable it. Are you sure that gsync got enabled and not something else? Some screenshots of the control panel would be nice. Also enabling gsync doesn’t reduce your fps by 15-20. It shouldn't affect fps at all.
  11. The 2070 super has more raw horse power but while the 5700xt can close the gap pretty good, it's ~100$/€ cheaper while doing so. You can oc the 2070 super and widen the gap again. So it comes down to if you are willing to spend the extra $. The 5700xt definitely is the value king here. My opinion: If you have the money and are willing to spend it get the 2070 super. If you want the best for your money and have a little extra for something else, better cooler, better case or what go with the 5700xt. You won’t miss out on a ton of fps just a little.
  12. It would not bottleneck a 1660ti. The 2600 is rather powerfull, dont worry.
  13. If i recall correctly the case has very bad air flow. But 65-70c aint super hot. Its fine
  14. It's called the Streisand effect. Guess most companies / governments live by this rule today.
  15. General shop browsing. Might not be released yet here in the eu...
  16. Can only find the FX705DU over here (same, different, still same?). The G531GU has Max-Q? Doesn't get mentioned anywhere.
  17. But compared to the ASUS ROG Strix G G531GU with an i7-9750H for only ~50€ more? Wouldn't it fall really flat due to that cpu performance different? The Strix also has a bigger battery (same usage time?) and a 2x2 wifi.
  18. The Zephyrus GA502DU with the Ryzen 7 3750H looked nice but it seems like the cpu does hold the system back rather a lot. So I'm waiting for the ASUS ROG Strix G G531GU with a 9750H. Should cost the same, little bit bigger, should cool better, build quality looks the same. Guess if the 1660ti has enough performance it should be a solid combo for the price.
  19. If the issue occurred after updating the driver then there is a good chance this will help.
  20. In theory yes. If the elgato returns a "proper display signal" your system will "see" two monitors. You set them to clone mode (or whatever it is called in english) and you should see the same content on the elgato and your monitor. Provided your Monitor is a 1080p panel. Otherwise you will get scaling issues. But why not use the passthrough? It's a passthrough. The additional delay is < 1ms.
  21. Done the usual like fresh install of the driver? By " not the monitor or the cable. " I assume you did try a different monitor and / or cable including different output (e.g hdmi instead of dp)?
  22. Done the usual? Driver-, OS-, Gameupdate?
  23. No not really. Direct access to the hardware can only be done by one os at the time. For example you run into a similar issue if you try to access the hardware through a vm (gpu passthrough for example). You can't do that until you tell the host os not to access the hardware.
