Anyways, this looks like your cheapest option from what i can find on PCpartpicker after a quick search https://pcpartpicker.com/product/t4Crxr/acer-monitor-umhg0aa001

If you want to buy an Nvidia GPU, there's a kickass deal on a Dell TN display with 165Hz refresh rate.

A fork bomb is basically running a CMD or batch file with %0 in it.

What it does is basically repeat that process in an endless loop, consuming memory and resources until the computer needs to automatically reboot to clear its memory.

It's actually a form of DoS attacks

Most plans tack on an extra $20+ a month to your plan for the "Free Phone" LOLOLOL
And you also need to be on the $50/m plan in order to get that "New Free Phone" LOLOLOL

That is about grand a year.

The E3 Xeons support (unnbuffered) ECC. And transcoding doesn't require that much power -- the only way he'd need dual CPUs is if he ended to transcode a few dozen 1080p streams.

The performance loss is negligible (3-5% possibly, maybe) on newer architectures and the older ones have a larger performance hit, ~20% or so as you say at max (maybe core 2 duo era?)

if it just requires CUDA, go for the i9 that has more PCIe lanes (more PCIe lanes, more GPUs can be used for compute, 8700k only has 16 lanes)

it's VNAND TLC, which is not regular TLC.
you could say the bits are stored like traditional TLC, but it does not wear out and slow down as fast as TLC, iirc it's a middle ground between MLC and TLC, edging closer to MLC
