i am very very very very tempted to get a 3600/x

i don't need the cores, just the ghz/ipc/clockspeed for fps in minecraft because 3770k is shit

but like, i don't need it, and my pc works

    That's what I said when I had my 4690K. I was lying to myself. I needed the R5 2600 xD

    my laptop gets 60fps, so i at least have that, but like.. i want to play on my desktop monitor with kb/m at the minimum but my laptop can't output 4k without shitting itself

    also shaders will work well on my desktop but cpu shits itself

    Man I've got a 1600x and I'm considering a 3900x or a 3950x for the IPC gains.  Would help RTX on BFV a lot.

    I literally have been playing minecraft only this year. I regret buying my VII because I thought I'd game more with a real GPU (something not a GTX 760) but.. 

     

    I really want a CPU upgrade, but I've been saying that for 3 years now. 3770k still works but my laptop outpaces it in minecraft FPS now (30fps vs 50ish)

    I'm in the exact same position as nearly everyone here xD ..but on Modded (Very heavily =D) Minecraft 1.12.2 instead of 1.14.3 lol - I keep thinking it's still My RAM from time to time but the majority of the time, I'm thinking it's My Ryzen 1600. I had to force-restart My PC unexpectedly yesterday because everything just froze on Me after launching Minecraft, lol.
