this is why the disk activity light is still useful as by now I would've rebooped it but it's actually writing a lot of things …

    That is actually pretty useful, it was just the other day I was trying to think of a real use for that light

    it's also useful to see if a rogue application is trying to access your D:\ drive with 'things' on it

    there's gotta be l.e.d.s that change color, I will search and find out.
