why the fuck is my 6TB HDD MBR

i have like, 12 partitions too.

if you're getting 0x80300024, unplug all drives. windows so sensitive it doesn't like installing itself on a clean SSD with a dirty, MBR disk present.

Wouldn't you not have the full space available since MBR only supports up to 2TB?

This is one reason why I make the bootable windows installer set to use UEFI and GPT... and the UEFI set to ONLY UEFI, no CSM for legacy devices.

If it's not your boot drive, it might be an easy fix though, you can use either Easus partition master or Gparted to change it to GPT... but it might erase anything you have on there IIRC.

why the fuck is it even mbr and what even is the difference between mbr and gpt

MBR is basically the old way of having the locations and such of each partition in a table.. GPT is the successor to that allowing many more partitions than MBR did. Can't remember the max for them right now, but GPT is a LOT more.

whenever you install windows, unplug all drives except the one you're installing onto, and the one you're installing from.
