  1. I have a yoga C930 that was working fine yesterday. Today I turn it on to see it get stuck at the lenovo loading boot screen. After letting it run for a few hours to no progress, I've tried power cycles and reinstalled windows from USB to no avail. What other steps should I take? I might try to run it without the ssd but frankly opening this thing is a POS and i'd rather reserve opening it up to my last resort. EDIT: So about every 1/3 times i turn off and back on, it boots into windows. I don't see any issues when it does work, but still has the same issue of getting stuck frequently if i ever turn it off.
  2. Thanks all! I'll back up that ssd and do a fresh install of windows instead.
  3. I'm going from an FX8350, R9 285 build to a new one using a Ryzen 5800x with 6600xt (Everything is entirely new and different from the old build). I was planning to do the physical version of a drag and drop with the SSD (just plug it into the new build with no changes) and was worried about drivers. For the display drivers I assume I can use AMD's cleanup util and just reinstall new ones. I'm unsure if the CPU has drivers to remove since I know that Ryzen has chipset drivers but can't find any for FX series. Anything else I should know would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Uninstalled through device manager and reinstalled, did not fix. Reinstalled physically, did not fix. Reinstalled physically, again, FIXED. I don't even know what happened here but somehow it's fixed. Thanks for the replies though!
  5. I've got a 400Mbps internet plan, and I usually hover at around 350mbps through wifi. Yesterday, my download speed suddenly slowed to 10Mbps even thought I didn't install any programs or do anything else of the sort. My upload speeds are still fine at 100Mbps (which they always were and this doesn't bother me). As for location, my tower is not that close to my router, but even after moving it directly next to the router, it speeds up only marginally (+15Mbps down, +50Mbps up). My laptop still runs at 300Mbps down and 100Mbps Up in the spot my tower was. I've rebooted literally everything and updated every driver under the sun. At this point I might do a fresh install of windows, but I'd rather not if there's another option.
  6. So I recently received my Lenovo Yoga c630 chromebook, and it's been fantastic except for the touchscreen. For some reason, the touchscreen is really "spotty." If i try to drag a stylus, it will only come up with dotted lines most of the time. I try going slower and it helps to some degree, but I'm not even sure why this is happening. Is this a software or hardware issue? Could I get a fix somehow from Lenovo? I'm a student who needs to have their laptop on them everyday and I'd rather not have to go through the trials and tribulations of school computers if I can help it. I haven't had this happen with any other touchscreen device I own (used to own a touchscreen Dell laptop and I have had a few smartphones)
  7. My name is my Chinese name 陈天和 which in pinyin, or the alphabet in china, is chentianhe. Chen is my last name so I just put that last. Then the 3 is just because. Also the email I used to sign up was alead taken but I just created that email. So I'm kinda scared now.

  9. Well I kinda did return it to AMD but they gave me a XFX R9 285 card and gave me the gold radeon rewards thing. So not a bad trade,
  10. I got a dvi d dual cable and it didn't work then I called AMD and they said that if I returned the card they would give me a reference card
  11. Are you sure your cpu is overheating, like are you over clocking and what are your tempratures?
  12. What port are you using? The gpu might default to a different port sometimes. Especially after installing drivers
  13. I reinstalled windows then I installed the disk drivers but then when I rebooted it said HDMI no signal again. I theorize that it may be defaulting to dvi due to the driver
