  1. Not to mention how bad the pseudo skill trees are. The stats on gear barely matter. In warframe I have to think about my load outs. In Destiny, I can just brute force my way through the game with whatever gear had the largest number in my inventory. The game has no depth.

It's insane to me that Bungie is getting away with the amount they're charging for this game and the DLC.

  2. I've been playing it since it went free. I'm not getting the DLC. The game is extremely barebones. The maps are essentially Plains of Eidilolons maps with the same game game type over and over. The division, warframe, borderlands 2 and mass effect are much better shooter rpgs.

I'm sure you'd have told the European Jewish community the same thing in the 1930's when people were talking about "the Jewish problem".

For reference, we have Don Lemon on CNN recently saying

"We have to start doing something about them". So long as people like you ignore or even approve of comments like this, people like me will worry. Because people like me actually know history and know that shit like this cannot be ignored.

But by all means. Tell me how I am racist for being angry over a racist comment towards my own ethnicity.

Hilarious that the "facts don't care about your feelings" crowd is offended by facts. Go look up stats on terrorism in the US. Spoiler: it's not brown people Americans should be worried about.

Also, lol at unironically using Simon of Arabia as a source.

  4. I don't know anything about them, but I want one. I don't even know where to start doing research on them. I just want something that's decent and doesn't cost a lot. Hopefully something $200 or less, but up to $300 is fine.

NN is not there to promote competition. It's a consumer protection there to prevent the anti-competitive behaviour that results from an oligopoly. It's the result of the market producing undesirable outcomes for the population. It's been proven time and time again that as desirable as a free market may be, it doesn't work in the real world. There is a reason that not a single free market economy exists.

Folks, it's not necessarily about competition for ISP performance.  It's about competition in areas like streaming services, or even just access to websites.

The classic example is Netflix.  If some telecoms had their way, Netflix wouldn't exist; they'd much rather you buy their $80 TV bundle than subscribe to an outside streaming service for $10 per month.  That's why they do things like force Netflix into peering agreements, or zero-rate their own streaming services (so that their service doesn't count against your data cap, but Netflix does). You need net neutrality so that you're not 'punished' for wanting to watch video somewhere else.

That's not the only issue.  Let's say employees at an ISP go on strike.  Without net neutrality, it's legal for that ISP to block websites supporting the strike.  We've seen phone carriers block VoIP to force you to pay for more airtime, even (less of an issue now that calling is usually unlimited).  The notion that the free market will solve this is just a fantasy -- dominant networks can and will abuse their power to stifle competition unless they're forced to respect it.

Excuse me, sirs. Facts are not allowed here. We only permit delusions of grandeur about muh free market, or better yet, not even knowing what NN is actually about. I can't for the understand for the life me why folks like you don't want ISPs blocking access to certain sites. It's for our own good. Praise be to corporate Jesus.

Kudos on the thread title. And yes Besos and Amazon deserve all the shit they get but a kind plea: please do not start "vote with your wallet!" or "Boycott Amazon!" comments: it helps basically nothing given their size and influence and that's usually the case for individual choices.

Support Amazon employees by demanding to the company that they support and embrace unionizing and fair hiring and workplace practices and do not give into their excuses and thinly veiled treats of "The economy will somehow crash" if poor Besos wasn't able to make as much as what 3 or 4 employees make in a year every single minute of the year.

So why would Amazon give in to those demands?

  7. You do the opposite of what I do. I put multi-player games on my SSDs and single player games on my HDDs. Single player games are much larger so I'm not sure why you put them on your SSD, even if it's too alleviate loading times. Seems like this is an easy fix. Move FF15 to your HDD
