Found a no box i7 6700 for $240 on Ebay. Decided to get that instead of switching to RyZen since it would be cheaper.

    Nice! Yeah, no point in doing a whole platform upgrade for no perceivable difference (between an R7 and the i7). That's why I went from an i5 to an i7 and stuck with the Haswell platform.
