All very interesting. I might just try it out.
Yeah, this is the same reason I think I'm the only person on the planet who enjoyed Civilization: Beyond Earth, lmao. The setting does it for me. Might be worth trying after all.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
Unoptimized tho, I'm playing Ultra with lesser shadows and it's still making my 1080Ti weep.

It depends, writing and character development isnt up to snuff with the trilogy, but its no where near as bad gaming press and general bandwagon haters made it to be and the 6 companions you get to play with in your party are honestly quite good. There are dumb lines in dialogue in places, but nothing that breaks it.
There are plenty of smaller bugs and glitches still, but again theyre not game breakers and no where near the amount games like Skyrim or Fallout 4 have which get massive praise despite that.
Gameplay in general is pretty good imo, gunplay and combat overall especialy is probably best in whole series, but it also depends whether you like grindy modern open world game design thats pretty much evident in all big games from Far Cry 4 to Witcher 3, theres plenty of exploration involved which i personaly like, and theres tons of content which makes the game a long endeavour if you like to complete everything.
It also comes down how much of a sci fi space exploration nerd you are, i for myself dont like fantasy games like Witcher 3, Final Fantasy, Divinity etc, but Andromeda really appeals to me.

Stop right fucking there.
He's not asking for new cards, now is he. 2 980 Tis will whip a 1080's ass in many scenarios, and this is one of those scenarios.

Yeah dude 80FPS! Yeah right http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-pascal,4572-6.html
OP, I would suggest turning down shadows, turning off AA if you have it enabled, or slightly lowering the draw distance.

For gaming, the 1080 is only about 15FPS better than a single 980 Ti in something like GTA V. Scaling in Grand Theft Auto V is good enough to where 2 980 Tis whip a 1080's ass.

The only way a single better card beats two slightly worse cards is if the SLI support is complete shit or if it's not supported. So either get your facts right or don't spew BS.

What trag1c said. I game on the BenQ, the Asus is my secondary monitor that I have monitoring software/streams/whatever on, and the Vizio is a TV I have on the other side of my room that I sometimes use a controller with and bring up Steam Big Picture on.

Possibly drivers? Check for a new one, if that fails try a clean install of the driver. If they both fail maybe reseat your card?
Drivers can be found here by the way: https://www.asus.com/au/Graphics-Cards/R9270XDC2T2GD5/HelpDesk_Download/

dima_ got a reaction from Daniel1 in What is your favorite video game?
What a hard question. If you had asked me a few months ago I'd probably say CS:GO, but I've kind of fallen out of that. Rainbow Six: Siege is eating up more and more of my time recently, I really didn't think I'd get so into that game. My interest in Fallout 4 has also been revitalized with more and more mods being created and the release of Far Harbor, which is a great DLC by the way. Honestly the new DOOM is probably my favorite game right now... I haven't actually played it in a couple days but it's been mind-blowing. The original DOOM games were a little before my time but the new one looked fun so I played through Doom and Doom 2 with the Brutal Doom mod and I loved it. The new game did not disappoint.
