DOOGEE V MAX, one of the most rugged phones out there. If you cant stop dropping tech, the tech must adopt.

AmigaNG got a reaction from 565465464 in How fast is the LTT member's internet connection?
To be fair it usually above 1mb but compared to you guys, you dont know how lucky you are, my internet sucks and 2mb is the fastest there is available in my area. its so annoying because I have been unable to enjoy most online game because of the huge downloads and my ping. thank god for Youtube 320p setting.

AmigaNG got a reaction from winny3141 in AMD Future..best video I've seen explains it
ok I wouldn't normally just promote a Youtube vid but this one I thought was great at explaining what AMD are up to and its even made me rethink about getting Haswell for my next PC build.

    so what do u think?

AmigaNG got a reaction from Milo Pod in DVD like Multimedia Computer (based on amigamcc)
I'd just thought I'd share this build I did in Feb 2011, basically I always wanted to do a home media PC because I was always annoyed by some limitation that set top box put on you I just thought I'd make a PC. I looked on the net and couldn't really find any case I liked so I based my design on an prototype Amiga that never got made. AmigaMCC Pic below

and any way never done anything like this before I'd thought I'd make it out of wood

at first I'd thought this is maybe a bad idea and its not going to work, a few people on the net and friends said I was nuts its not going to work, but had no other idea about how to go about building the case so I thought I might as well just give it a go any way and see if it works out.
if not I only lose out on about £50 building materials

Pretty happy with the end result and it been running fine and a great little system I have
see a vid of it here

and more of my build and progress here

so basically my point is always give it a try at building and modding it can be quite fun and my little system always turns a few head.

AmigaNG got a reaction from SirReallySam in 8gb isnt enough anymore
I currently have 4gb, but have been running into the limits when I do work with Photoshop or video editing, so my next pc I'm going to fill the bugger with 32gb  :)

Might be a bit overkill but one thing I really like on the Amiga was the Ram Disk icon where you can store files and edit them off the ram disk and its so god dam quick, I only found out though I think one of linus videos that AMD made a program that can turn your Ram into this classic feature so that is something that I plan to do in my next build.
