  1. Ok thanks. All 3 of the AIO fans have that issue when they are mounted to the radiator. The 3 chasis fans that I'm using in the meantime is slightly better but also makes a rattling noise when they operate below a certain workload. How do I test if the sound persists outside of the case? Just connect the fan to a random fan header and test it?
  2. The fans sound like a shaver though, are they supposed to be making that sound?
  3. Recently I bought a coolermaster ML360 AIO and 3 MF120R Fans to act as additional chassis fans. When the ML360 fans are spinning at above 50% speed it generates a lot of noise it almost sounds like a shaver. I have tried to reseat both the radiator and the fans but they still make that noise. I have tried attaching different numbers of fans and it still makes that noise regardless of position. This video demonstrates the noise the ML360 AIO creates https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ED4xVWvUbu8 Afterwards I tried replacing the fans that came with the AIO with the MF120R fans. These performed slightly better but are still quite noisy. They produce a low humming noise that can be heard from across the room and comes and goes whenever they are working above 50% speed. I am not sure if this is normal or not but the humming is very jarring when my fans fluctuate from 50%-70% workload and the noise keeps changing. Below 50% workload the fans begin to create a rattling sound. My old Cooler Master Nepton 240M was never this noisy no matter what speed the fans were on. This video demonstrates the noise the MF120R fans create , you may have to turn up the volume for this one as it is a low humming noise that comes and goes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNDh8rqswbs and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcQW79d4-Kw Are these normal for the fans and the radiator or did I get a bad AIO? Should I look to RMA the AIO as well as the chassis fan?
  4. So it would be fine if i ran it with an AIO water cooler and not an air cooler right? Also another thing, is there a difference between the MOBO i picked vs the one you recommended? Thanks for the help so far
  5. What do you mean by cooler compatibility? I thought it supports 360mm rads?
  6. Please read my post properly. I will be re-using the GPU, PSU and storage from my old build. The rest (CPU,Case,RAM,MOBO,Cooler) will be bought. Any feedback or issues with the build or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
  7. Hello thanks for the reply! Is there a reason why I should get the 9600k over the 9700k if I plan on streaming? Also I would like to keep the lian li case because I like its aesthetics

My old build could not run a lot of modern games at steady frame rates (FFXV, KCD,Apex Legends) because my CPU was bottlenecking my GPU. I would also like to stream gameplay on twitch. I am currently playing on 1440p, with a 144Hz monitor. I live in Singapore and was planning to buy my parts online through Newegg or something similar because the cost of the parts locally is far greater than buying from newegg. I was wondering how would warranty of my parts work if I didn't buy the parts locally? Any help or feedback would be appreciated thanks!
  9. So I should do something like use a display port to HDMI adapter? Integrated graphics seems pretty bad and I don't want to keep plugging out and in my 2 HDMI cables
  10. Hi guys this is probably going to be a silly question . Recently i bought a 10m HDMI cable to play games on my TV. I currently have one HDMI cable connected to my monitor and my MSI GTX 970 and I have 1 more HDMI port on my ASUS Sabertooth mark 2 motherboard, however when I connect the HDMI cable to the motherboard port it says that there is no signal to the TV. Do I need to do something like set the display up in the BIOS or something? Any help is appreciated thanks!
  11. Alright thanks for the help guys! I decided to go for the Corsair Hx750i 80+ platinum since Linus recommended it on the "game on" rig in the holidays buyers guide video
  12. But would you suggest these parts? Or are there better alternatives for around the same cost? I have been reading reviews on the CSM750W and people are saying the fan is extremely noisy when under load.
  13. Hi guys it's my first time building a gaming rig and i am not so sure whether these parts are compatible with each other. Do i need a larger tower size? Is my power supply enough? Any help would be appreciated thanks! I might not be able to purchase some of the item you suggest as i will not be shipping the parts from the US but rather purchase them locally but i will take your advice to heart!
