  1. Well I don't know if this has been asked before but... As the title says... which one of those? and what keyboard would you recommend for a price range of a 100€? I actually liked the feel of the Razer Blackwidow 2014 switches... the only problem is the colour of the LED I don't know if it would match with any of those two mice. (currently using an a4tech x7)
  2. Well I guess that'd be the one build I will be going then! Thanks for the support man it really helped me out. I definetley knew that I just had to put in those few more bucks for the 380 because it just feels a bit more worth then getting a 270x. It's a shame that the 960 is such a let down (the 950 would be worth getting over it as it seems...) Since I was looking forward to being one of my first Nvidia cards but oh well... I guess AMD is just the way to go! And people are really really starting to buy more AMD cards as it seems lol
  3. Well that'd be the ASRock board then! And also I now am conscidering that build from the picture above, except that I replaced the mobo with the ASrock one and the psu with the SeaSonic one I guess it would be a neat little looking portable PC with a window! Oh and by the way I'm also curious if you could recommend me a build of your own? If you're to lazy though you can leave it be hehe
  4. Well thanks for the recommendation! And it does seem to have quite A LOT of positive reviews! I mean for the ten bucks difference I might as well get the SS Evo then! (and it being modular,oh yes) now which Mobo would you pick? The ASRock H81M-DGS Rev. 2.0 Intel H81 or the Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 Intel H81? Theres a 10€ difference but I'm not the best motherboard knower of all time soo... I don't know about it for sure, all I know is that there is one ASRock Motherboard that has been massively sold and recommended for budget builds.
  5. Yeah I heard about the CX caps blowing and not being that good. That's why I decided to avoid the Corsair PSU's. Checking the list now! And which one would you recommend for that price segment? I always like to hear other peoples personal preference
  6. I guess you're right with the whole PSU story and those 35W don't seem like a huge difference at all imho, and also this is like... a build that I have been conscidering recently and please if you do have any cases in that price range that are mATX please do reccomend them or anything else that you would perhaps change... P.S. Sorry for the German site but I guess the prizes and components matter only atm lol
  7. I would be very very happy if would dig 'eem benches up
  8. Well you do make quite a few valid points. But let's say I were to choose between an R9 270x and a 950? Would you reccomend a 950 that I would perhaps then overclock a bit? Plus check out this video and tell me what you hold of it and also if I were to choose between a R9 380 and an R9 280x I guess I would probably take the 380? Or would you conscider taking the 960 over it? I mean it's very debatable still. P.S. Altough I don't think power consumption is important for me... The 950 consumes less power and so does the 960 and with that one could save a few bucks on his PSU? I guess...
  9. How do you "accidentally" buy a server? For real now? Why can't I "accidentally" buy a Mercedes or something?
  10. From what I've heard the R9 270x even tough it is 3 years old it still competes pretty crazily well as some people have been claiming, but also quite a lot of them say that the past few driver updates for AMD cards did quite increase the GPU's performance? I mean unless I want to have a "proper" GTX series card I should better leave out the 950 and 960 and in that case get a 970 which I find pretty stupid from Nvidia's side on because as it seems there are no real "solid" entry card choices? Like... Why do I have to spend 350 bucks for a card if there's a 225€ card that performs tightly close to a 350€ card? (380 vs GTX 970) and what if there was a 4GB 950? wouldn't it technically beat the R9 270x then?
  11. I see. So you'd still recommend getting a 270x over a 950? I mean... This is one of the reasons why I'm not even thinking about Nvidia cards when building a budget PC. Since apparently AMD seems to make those "budget" GTX cards crash and burn.
  12. The budget would be from a 170-230€ and I'm mostly now for getting a 380. but If I would not be able to get one I have been thinking of getting a 950 over a 270x since I've NEVER used Nvidia cards in my life. (Yes that's true, well okay maybe except the 650ti. but that wasn't even my pc lol.)
  13. Hey guys it's me again! I've just been wondering out of curiousity, where does Nvidia stand with it's "budget" segment cards? From what I've heard AMD is leading it at the moment, and what are your opinions on the 950/960? Would you conscider them worth getting over an R9 270x, 280x, or the newer 380? I'm just really debating if it's worth it at all to even get a 950/960 compared to the performance the other R-Series cards deliver? (I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask... But it would still be good to know for people conscidering to build their PC with any of those following.)
