  1. Sorry tried to upload from phone https://www.dropbox.com/sc/e79eyjqnvyxox7t/AADsEEZGFXJDK-RHw2KdIWMHa
  2. I have a corsair 780t and have a spare cable that I'm not sure what to do with. Anybody know what this is and where to plug it into? (Picture attached) It also has MQT written on the side if that helps.
  3. With the new information come to light about the GTX 970. Does this change how viable or preferable two GTX 970's in SLI are compared to a single GTX 980?
  4. Anyone know the max safe core temps for the i7-4790k? would this be about right? 80C Hot 70C Warm (Heavy Load) 60C Norm 50C Norm (Medium Load) 40C Norm 30C Cool (Idle)
  5. If I have: Front 2 x 140mm as intake Bottom 2 x 120mm as intake Top 2 x 140mm as exhaust Back 1 x 140mm as exhaust Power supply fan side down Will that create a positive pressure interior? The issue i'm having is will the 2 x 120mm fans put more air into the case then the 1 x 140mm fan can exhaust?
  6. What would be the best fan configuration using a Corsair 780T case. The fans I will be using are: 2 x 140mm front fans 2 x 140mm top fans 2 x 120mm bottom fans 1 x 140mm rear fan Also as the 780T has a filtered power supply intake, should the power supply intake be faced up or down? I would like to have the best airflow while maintaining a positive pressure interior. Thanks
  7. Hey guys im running with Corsair 780T case which can hold the following amount of fans: 5 x 140mm and 2x 120mm In addition to those 7 fans i have a Noctua NH-D15 with two additional 140mm fans. This is all going on a MSI Gaming 5 motherboard with five 4-pin PWM fan headers Using Y-Cables will there be any issues with voltage or how many you can hook up to a single fan header or the board?

Which is the best? http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/compare/acer-monitor-umfg6aab01,aoc-monitor-g2460pqu,asus-monitor-vg248qe,benq-monitor-xl2411z/ As far as I can tell they are pretty close to the same with slightly different ports. Does one outperform the rest? Thanks.
  9. The Corsair Graphite 780T supports the following: FRONT FANS: 2x 140mm AF140L LED fan (supports 3x 120mm) REAR FANS: 1x 140mm AF140L fan TOP FANS: Supports 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans BOTTOM FANS: Supports 2x 120mm fans SIDE FANS: N/A
  10. So essentially I could use the 3 x 120mm fans at a lower setting to match the 2 x 140mm in performance and loudness, but when it is needed I can crank up the fans which will result in them performing better but sounding louder?
  11. If a case supports 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans, which setup would allow for greater airflow? More specially, what would be the optimal fan setup for: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-cc9011059ww
  12. Option one: Buying two sets of 2x8GB Option two: Buying one set of 4x8GB Is there any performance diffrence between the first option and the second option if both sets have the same speed, pin, and CAS?
  13. In addition to the question posted above. How different are theGigabyte GTX 980 vs the Asus GTX 980? Do they offer features that are diffrent then the other or are they just branded differently?
  14. 1. Budget & Location I have budget of $2500 (a max of $3000 if the parts warrant it). United States. This budget if for the computer parts / case, monitor, peripherals, and OS. 2. Aim This system will be used solely for gaming (solo and multiplayer). I would like to be able to play a variety of games at their max settings for current generation and hopefully have enough power for future ones. Maybe game recording in the future. That being said. I want to pay for quality parts, not just because they cost more. (e.g. I would rather have a cheeper graphics card that is worth the price it costs then a more expensive one that gives me diminishing returns.) 3. Monitors I will be using one monitor (maybe 4k if it's worth it and I will see the difference in games?). 4. Peripherals Gaming mouse. Gaming keyboard. Headset possibly with microphone. Speakers? 5. Why are you upgrading? I'm upgrading from console gaming to PC gaming. This is my first PC build and I have saved for quite a while to have enough to spend on, hopefully, a higher end gaming system. I've watched lots of YouTube videos on building a computer by oneself, but I can't say I understand enough to know what parts would be best for the money I have. I've decided to ask for some help. Can somebody recommend a build for me? Thanks.
