So I'm planning on adding another GTX 760 to my setup and I have some questions about connectors and power supplies.
Currently my single GTX 760 uses two 6-pin PCI connectors. Unfortunately, these are the only two 6-pin pci connectors available on my evga 600b 600w power supply. Luckily though the card I'm planning on getting comes with molex to pci converters, which require two molex connectors to make one PCI 6-pin. The second problem I'm running into is that my power supply only has 3 molex connectors, so I need one more to power the card. I was wondering if it would be safe to use a sata power to molex adapter to create this last molex connector. I found this on newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812816038 which would work for exactly what I need, I'm just curious if this is safe/ a good idea. I know some believe that running through multiple adapters can lead to trouble, but I was wanting the expertise from this forum.
Thanks for the help guys!
