So I ran across this article on LifeHacker and wondered how something like this would actually work. Any thoughts on the subject? This would probably make an interesting video if Linus is eavesdropping on this post. If it even works, do you think the quality would suffer since it is going over a line with other data already on it?

Really? I have never heard anything bad about the 9590, what is wrong with it? Other than heat and power?

Pretty much as long as the card fits in the case and you have one free PCIe x16 slot, it will work. And what hconverse said as well 4GB System RAM minimum.

I currently have a computer with an FX-6300 paired with 16GB of corsair vengeance RAM and an EVGA Geforce GTX 950 SC. I have been noticing some slowdowns as far as my games are concerned. When playing games like GTA V, I notice that my GPU is sitting right at 60% usage and my CPU is pegged. This leads me to believe that my FX6300 is bottlenecking my GTX950. What I am planning to do is in the next couple of months, upgrading my CPU to an AMD FX-9590 and overclocking it to 5GHZ, and pairing that with an H100i. Adding another 16GB of Corsair Vengeance ram (I do a lot of virtualization) and upgrading my EVGA Geforce GTX 950 SC 2GB to an EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC 4GB. I just wanted to know whether an FX9590 OC'd to 5GHz would bottleneck a 1050 TI. And I do not want to hear anything about Ryzen. I do not have the budget for that.

Did this tutorial, love the way it came out. I have always liked the way Windows 7 looked and it is nice to have the feel of it back.

I don't think they are moving away from affordable products so much as they are trying to give everybody nerdgasms. I mean take the Insane Eyefinity Surround Gaming Setup. Chances are, none of us are ever going to build a setup like that because A. it is extremely un-affordable and B. Why?
