  1. My question is how did Linus get the Langley house to do this? With how hot the real estate markets are everywhere, there's no way it wasn't already occupied. Either he bought it, already owned it, got permission to do this or paid the owners a boatload of money to move all their stuff out for a day or two of filming.
  2. I remembered a few videos from back in the day that are no longer available on the channels. One of them was a commercial they did for Seagate featuring a wireless hard drive. Here's the link, i found it on the wayback machine https://web.archive.org/web/20130702162712/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZO2MRFrsBc&list=UU0vBXGSyV14uvJ4hECDOl0Q&index=7 Anyone have any videos they remember from back in the day?
  3. I thought the AX1200 and 1200i would have been the same, but clearly they aren't. My original intention was to see if someone had specific experience with the situation, rather than purely finding things on the internet. I checked and i do have AX1200i cables, which say they are for use on TX, HX and AXi PSU's only. More complications. Doesn't matter anymore anyway as my friend is just going to replace his PSU with a new one. Thanks to all for replying and helping out.
  4. ok, so if the AX1200 is equal to the AX1200i, and the 1200i is meant to be compatible, why wouldn't the AX1200 cable work?
  5. Where did you find this information? So i can plug a "AX1200 only' cable in to a CX series PSU with no issues?
  6. That doesn't list the PSU my cables may have come from, which is an AX1200. Also, the post directly under the one you linked on the forum thread says the cables are not compatible, and that is the one the OP actually replied to.
  7. I know, thats why i dont want him to start plugging things in unless i am absolutely certain that they are compatible between PSUs. Thanks for helping out.
  8. So you're saying the cables that came with my 1200i would work on his CX750, but not the cables from my 1200? I dont know if there is a difference between them. I can compare all the GPU cables i have and see if there are differences. If they all say "AX1200 only", then im screwed haha.
  9. honestly i dont remember. When i RMA'd the AX1200, i got back a 1200i. I probably used the new cables that came with the 1200i (they sent me a brand new retail box unit). According to Corsair's own chart, all AX series cables are compatible with AX PSUs. But it was so long ago that i dont remember if i left the original cables there or routed new ones.
  10. I have looked over the chart and cannot find any references to the CXM series of PSUs. Either im blind, or you are looking at a different chart. You see my issue though? Information from Corsair says it is compatible, yet at the same time their own chart and cables say you should only use the "AX1200 only" cables on an AX series PSU.
  11. I used to have an AX1200. Had it RMA'd and got an AX1200i. I want to know if the GPU cable i have (it says "AX1200 only" on the side of it) will work in his CX750M.
  12. I think you think im trying to plug my own cables into my 1200i. I want to know if my AX1200 cables will work on my friend's CX750M. The chart says nothing about the CX series.
  13. I have an AX1200i. The cable says "AX1200 only" as it came off of an AX 1200, not the AX1200i. He has a CX750M. I did say im not good at reading those charts. If you could help me interpret it, i'd be grateful.
  14. Thats the thing, according to Corsair's own chart, they aren't compatible. Yet they're all type 3 cables and are compatible. See the confusion here?
  15. The post directly under that Toms Hardware answer says they won't be compatible. This is what worries me. Calling Corsair is a pain. Their chart isnt helpful either. It shows the cables i have as "AX1200 only" and doesnt specify if they're compatible with anything else. Why label them as "AX1200 only" if they can work on other PSUs?
