  1. It's either your 970 is faulty or the modo is really just rejecting the 970...But It's really really hard to believe that mobo will picking graphics card,I putted a 980 in my X58 rig, dunno why, just for fun I guess...still Plug n' Play...Have you try that 970 with other PCs?
  2. Try SPFDISK,It's a HDD format tool that's based on MS-DOS,Windows environment,it can be use to perform pre-formatting for those HDDs that it's detected in BIOS but somehow it isn't picked up in Windows. and It's easy to use, just download it here and throw it into a USB drive, reboot, boot from the USB,and it'll start loading, but you have type SPFDISK to initiate the tool, don't worry, that's the only command you need to type. If the HDD is showed in BIOS,it should show in here, just remember the capacity, because it won't show the label of the hard drive, only capacity...so better unplug the drive you don't want to use.
  3. Shit,So the problem was on me...myself without checking compatibility and rush into it...Thanks man...Gonna sell this one,buy the 2.5" SATA version...
  4. Anyone with more ideas???...Anyone actually had something similar to my situations and how you solved it?...
  5. Yep,Done that, even removed optical drive..still nothing, just straight boot into BIOS...and still nothing...M.2 just not on any boot drive list...
  6. But...it didn't even show in BIOS..where can I set as boot device?..It isn't detected by BIOS...
  7. Nope,No manual just the SSD with 2 screws and a OEM copy of Acronis Backup softawre,I do enabled AHCI mode,It's by default. Not sure what you mean, but I do changed the M.2's PCIe Slot to x2 mode,it only has Auto,x2,x4,Disable...Forgot to mention my BIOS version,it's v.1801..
  8. Initially I was going to buy Intel's NVMe drive too...but hold off,buy the M.2 instead...If I ever solve this,I'll probably stay away from PCIe based Storage drive for a long long time...
  9. Nope...It didn't even show in Disk Partitioning...dodgy SSD...NOOOOOO...Shoulda buy the SATA version...Why would I trouble myself...
  10. Hi guys,Today,I bought a new Crucial MX200 250G M.2 2280SS SSD.I thought it just plug n play, but apparently not... My system.. i7 5820K ASUS X99 Deluxe Crucial Ballistix Sport 32GB DDR4 EVGA GTX 980Ti SC Blower Corsair RM 1000W Anyone got any Ideas? I adjusted a bunch times based on googled information, but none of them actually works... Or Could be the M.2 SSD itself?a lemon one?Or My Motherboard M.2 Socket is bad?But I never used it before... Any help would be grateful,I'm PANIC!..
  11. Did you booted your USB flash drive with UEFI mode?If not...maybe you can try this SPFDISK,It's DOS based HDD/SSD Formatting tools.Just download it and throw it into a 1GB flash drive and boot it,before you boot from it,you might actually want to change the file name to SPFDISK,'cause it'll need to enter the file name to execute it. Try that...and see how it goes,if still won't work...have you tried to plug into other SATA port?...maybe the port you plugged in is somehow corrupted?Might consider RMA the board? Otherwise, yeah, use another PC to install the Windows and plug back into PC that can't install Windows and boot from it.
  12. You might wanna try to reinstall windows again, your error code suggested that you might have a broken driver or some device's drive was not installed properly. It's hard to tell which one causes it,so best way to solve this is wipe out everything start it all over again...and install every driver properly...
  13. Just a quick question, did you check your SSD,make sure that it's in AHCI not IDE,and 4K lined up?...Could make a tons of differences...
  14. Yeah,Seems like this is the only solution for now,Till Rockstar realise it and fix it patch it up.But looks like they don't aware of it,Since the latest update patch, still didn't address this issue. I'm kind of disappoint right now.Though,It wouldn't hurt anything playing under Borderless Windowed mode, just feels weird that it isn't Full screen.
  15. Thanks man,though I already know.It's a glitch rockstar need to fix..anyway,thanks again.
