  1. I didn't give a budget because I honestly have no idea what a reasonable budget would be for something like that. I more or less just wanted to know what was out there.
  2. Hi all. Wondering if anyone knows of a set up I could use to send live video to a laptop/display of some sort. Catch is that I'd be using it out in a field where there would likely be no cell/4g reception. It'd be used to record long distance rifle shots (1000 yards+). We have a drone that we can fly about above our targets but it can only stay in the air for so long and we don't like the idea of landing it next to something we're going to shoot at. Apologies if this is the wrong forum to be asking in. Thanks for any replies.
  3. Is there a big difference between the aero 14 and the sabre pro 15?
  4. Budget is in Aud by the way. So like 1500-1900 usd. And yes I'd like it to be relatively high end but without going overboard.
  5. Around 2 - 2.5k. Might be able to go a touch more if it's going to be a big gain. Would be nice if I could get away with spending less though.
  6. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me. I may upgrade my laptop this year as the current one is very out dated. It'll pretty much only be used for MMOs and maybe some AAA's not available to PS4. Performance wise I really only need it to be capable of running things like WoW at high/max settings with a good fps. If I really need to play new AAA's on it I'd probably be fine with medium settings and a steady frame rate. Sort of a best bang for your buck type of deal. Last thing I had recommended to me was an Acer Predator 15.6in but that may be a bit overkill? Other than that just the usual mix of Youtube, Netflix, Etc. Don't intend on doing any content creation or things like that with it. An optical drive would be nice but not entirely necessary. From Australia so some stores may not be available to me. Thanks for any and all replies
  7. Looking for a new all in one headset for a PS4, and have come down to these three. Have heard good things about the HyperX, but it connects to the PS4 controller, which then receives audio from the machine. I was wondering if this will have a negative impact on performance. Also apparently the Clouds take more power to run then most headsets, and I'm not sure if that's going to be a problem. Are the clouds still a good choice? Or should I go with something specifically made for PS4? And if so which of the Turtle Beach headsets are best? Thanks
  8. I've spent ages rummaging around the internet in search of a decent headset that is compatible with the PS4/XB1, and was wondering if people here had any input. I've been looking mostly towards Astro A40's, Steelseries H Wireless, or the Razer Kraken 7.1. All I really need is for them to sound decent and support both chat and audio on the PS4. Thanks for any replies.
