this is why people buy i7 even for gaming its true in some games i5 have micro stuttering while i7 dont

There is a subjective performance difference between i7 and i5, both in desktop and in game (and especially in cpu heavy tasks). As a power-user, I find i5's hitch/stutter once in a while, which has disappeared with hyper-threading. In Gaming I have noticed the same thing for certain games, especially Frostbite Engine Games. This is my own subjective experience, and why I went from i5 to i5 and chose to eventually go the i7 route. If I had had a completely 100% smooth experience with previous i5's, I would still be using an i5.

Step 1, find anything and everything fluffy in your house. Pets, pillows. blankets. ALL OF IT. grab it. put it into a pile
Step 2. Roll around in this pile. like for atleast 8 hours.
Step 3. get ballons. blow up balloons. attach them to yourself via your newly found static powers.
Step 4, rub any and all pets one final time for good measure
Step 5, avoid touching anything metal this includes your case
Step 6, touch ALL of your pc parts. rubbing your pet in between each touch of a part.

I finished the real 24 pin extension. The cable management on the back isn't the greatest, but it's the best I could manage with a non modular power supply.      Here's the loop filled and bled... The yellow Pops like crazy!.      Purple lights to fit the theme, I'm using an RGB LED strip that the green burnt out on. The case has a nice even glow.      Finally the window is in the side panel... The logo glows surprisingly well considering the glass isn't edge lit.      Sadly one of my memory sticks died, so I'm waiting on an RMA, but I can still install windows and overclock the system with the one working dimm. When the new memory comes in I'll do the final glamour shots.

The 4790k is a K series chip. How dense are you? You just specifically showed me that the 6600k is overclocked, going against stock i7's. You just completely shot yourself in the foot. 
 
 
Yeah, you have to have a low IQ not to OC a K series chip. Unless you are trying to make Skylake look better, then its perfectly okay, right? After all, that's your logic, not mine.

Skylake is the DLC of the CPU world. You can easily ignore it.
