  1. "For years we've obsessed over creating the definitive high-end liquid cooling enclosure - an ultra-refined case that sets a new standard for quality, innovation, and performance. For those seeking the ultimate high-performance PC case and to our Customers supporting us for all these years, we're extremely proud to present you with the result of our efforts; the Limited Edition MBX MKII. The MBX MKII was conceived for you and designed, refined, and built without compromise." https://xforma.com/ I know i posted this in the Case's forum, but i REALLY think this is news worthy. Charles has been slaving away for YEARS, litterally. I started building PC's after seeing his beautiful Murderbox Creations. They were complete works of art and these are unlike anything we've seen when it comes to mass produced Cases. (Although these are a very limited run) We may all talk about the price point, however it needs to be stated.... Xforma was not building this for someone who was going to buy a corsair case. This is art. Its as perfect of a chassis you can find. Its a Ferrari, a Lambo, a Vertu. Its something that has been missing from the top tier of performance and beauty in Chassis for a LONG time. For one, I'm thankful that he is seeing this vision come to life. I want to sell all my PC's and consoles just to build in this beautiful work of art. Keeping mind what this is.... a limited edition, performance, premium, artistic, chassis.... what do you guys think?
  2. Nope, no need to strip at all. The sleeve just goes over each individual wire. If they come "pre sleeved" with that ugly uni-sleeve, you need to cut it off.... but outside of that, no real cable mutilation is really required
  3. hahaha! No for this he used his HTC One. Surprisingly good quality for a cellphone
  4. Not sure if this has been posted here, but check it out! Linus via skype on the 'dam good show' This was only the second episode, but Linus was a great guest and provided a lot of great insight as always. Leave your thoughts below!
  5. I dont think I'll be posting on that channel anymore mostly on the one you guys see me most often. But what i can promise is that my editing etc will get better soon no more dragging intros Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm humbled!
  6. You can also check out dazmode.com His sleeve is quite good too. Very tight weave.
  7. Nope!!! Just hit some snags and started with some new projects New case coming, new mobo... new cpu... new GPU... lots of new stuffs!!!
  8. My setup is pretty simple. I use a Intel 120gb SSD for my OS drive, and a 1TB WD Black for my mass storage drive. Why? Beacuse the SSD provides the raw speed i want for window and day-to-day, and the 1tb for volume.
  9. Sounds good Ookami!. Pumped to see what you come up with!
  10. Glad to hear it man! I love the shrinkless look. Take some pics and post them here I'd love to see everyones results!
  11. I did this with MDPC-X Sleeve. I dont see how paracord would be a problem however. without heatshink, the sleeve starts to shrivel and doesnt keep shape. You need something to keep it from curling back. That's where the heat shink comes in. However, ive heard of people doing something with soldering irons, though i wouldnt recommend it.
  12. Thanks Denned. I don't think the process is that difficult, it just meant to take the time to measure out the length of the sleeve, etc. I cant wait to see what your results are like Haha! Best of luck! show her the video and say it can be fun! lol
  13. It wasn't the camera person, it was the tripod. We need to find a better option for smoother transitions. But thank you for the feedback. I know that I need to prepare better. That was evident right after i shot it and watching it back. The thing I wanted to do is not hide anything and be real so i can grow in-front of everyone. There was no second take. However in stating that, most of the mistakes or inconsistencies were due to nerves that will fade over time with better preparation. This was my first on camera un-boxing and i can promise that it will only get better from here. I appreciate the criticism. I know I'm a rookie and I appreciate anyone's thoughts on how i can improve. Better preparation will be key for all videos going forward. I agree, I need a strong intro. Will do! thanks for pointing it out! I thought the 760 could as well. I stand corrected! Moving forward, i'll write up a cheat sheet. Reviewers like Linus get review docs outlining certain things to point out, but i shouldn't let that stop me from ensuring the best quality. Being prepared = less nerves about making a mistake. I have a tablet, might as well make use of it.
  14. Bah! I was hoping someone wouldnt notice. Note to self, prepare better lol.
  15. Hey guys, So I decided to do a quick unboxing and overview of the MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr 4 OC, Review to come later!!! If you have any comments, and criticisms, please let me know here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVF53jLhkTo
  16. I thought the exact same thing. Since i recorded this, I bought a new lens and tripod, which has 100% fixed the stability issues
  17. Thanks Denned, I think that might be a staple in a bunch of my videos. If for anything other than humor Thanks Dave! i just hope i can help people when it comes to some modding ideas etc with future videos. If you guys have any ideas of stuff you want to know how to do, etc, let me know! i'll film it. Any comments or criticisms?
  18. Thanks guys! I'll be sure to tell her. also if there is any constructive criticism you want to give, let me have it. I want my future tutorials, reviews, etc, to be of the highest quality. Let me know what you want to see!
  19. Hey Everyone, I made this video for my build log, but i thought id share it here as well, in case some of you have not seen it and wanted to find a quick and easy way to sleeve your cables. Please let me know if there are any questions or concerns, Leave comments as well ! And just because its funny: The Girlfriend Perspective!
  20. Hey guys, This is more of a production type of update, while updating some stuff i want to do with the loop. I received a package from some awesome people over at Cowboy Studio They are amazing, great studio lights, 5500k illumination so its practically daylight! So lets see how things look with better lighting! this is something i want to change. Sure the lighting looks great, but i think I'm going to end up rotating the block so that the inlet is at the top, and the outlet is at the bottom. Might make this look a lot cleaner I'm so in love with this sleeve. MDPC-X is amazing stuff. I need to buy more i've already run out. However, these images also revealed that i need to fix the run from the GPU block, to the res. This doesn't look good and it looks likes its kinking a bit. A little too much there. As well, I was a FanExpo yesterday, I shot some great footage with some amazing cosplayers. I had the chance to speak with some of the Xbox people, unfortunately Ubisoft and Playstation PR guys were pretty wrapped up with conventional media time, so they couldn't fit me in. However, this is where even more bad news comes in. Yet, here is some back story just to show you how bad the day was. Started off the day with a major delay with the subway with a Toronto fire department investigation. Some idiot at the station pulled the fire alarm. Next, arriving at FanExpo an hour late, Teletoon had lost my weekend passes and my press pass. We waited an hour for the weekend pass to be fixed, but i couldn't get my press certification back. So, pushing that emotional let down aside, I attempted to do the best i could with the interviews i could muster. After conducting all my interviews, I play back some of the audio. Sounded great, then all the sudden my data is gone. I plug the microSD card in my phone, and it wont read. i try my card reader at home, nothing. All my externally recorded audio is gone. The MicroSD card is dead.... I want to break something. But, thinking positive, I'm Motivated to make sure i get this done, so that i dont let down those who were kind enough to support me, and give me their time for these interviews. We'll see what i have in store :D Seems like whenever I make some positive gains with this build and everything else im perusing, i take a step back. Lesson? Only Class 10 microSD's. they are not all created equal. Motivation: Gamer - Do what motivates you.
  21. If the UK is dumb enough to believe that those HDD's were the only copies with the data they would be foolish. The guardian would also be insanely foolish to not have backups of it somewhere knowing that the gov't would come after it.
  22. YES!!!!!!!! Open beta? hopefully? Article: Battlefield 4 has already gotten a bit of love at this year's Gamescom, being named as one of 23 Xbox One launch titles, but the shooter had even more time to shine as one of the titles that took center stage at EA's press event. At the top of the list of announcements for the FPS was a bit more specificity around when we're actually going to see the beta. The fall date that we got back in March has been narrowed down to early October, which should give you just about enough time to perfect your aim. 23. This is amazing news for the consumer. Saves from SimCity fiasco's where they launch unplayable games. This might have a direct affect on quality of the product as now they cant get away with offering sub standard quality anymore.
  24. wow... I'm late to the party. Mod please delete.
