    Lol no no. You'll still need a ship along with the pass(if your package doesn't have alpha access) to play in the DFM. If your ship isn't in the DFM Version 1, you'll then get a loaner ship.

    You can still play in the Alpha, just need to but the pass to gain access to it. You'll still need a ship though. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/single-ship-packages - This one's for the ships. The cheapest one would be the MR+ $40 package. It comes with Beta. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/module-passes - This one's for the pass.
