Yup, not looking for 4K or any ray tracing as i am not planning to upgrade my monitor, 1440p or 1080p is more than enough for me here.
Agree, i think 2070 is mainly for people who are looking for 1440p max setting or 4k at 60 or even 144hz gaming. But as you said 2070 super will definitely last longer than 1070 ti for those triple A title series coming out in the next year or so.
2070 super is definitely overkill for me, i doubt i did be running at any higher than 60hz on this old dell 1440p monitor so 1070 ti should be fine for me. Agree with you on getting RTX, those are mainly for people who are trying to run 1440p or 4k at max settings or do ray tracing. Which to my normal eyes cant really differentiate any differences. Aint those competitive gamers who aim for perfection. I will be more than happy if i could play Assetto Corsa or some other shooting game titles without any lags.
