so.. i'm just considering something..

i managed to break the glass on my netbook/tablet convertible piece of junk..

a replacement glass is 35 bucks shipped to my door... thats actually not much more than some premium glass screen protectors for phones.

i suppose breaking the glass isnt all too bad, given replacing it is basicly the price of having had a screen protector on it.

that said, why the hell do phone manufacturers seal the display and glass together, if it means glass swapping could be this cheap?
