  1. Hey Sydney, sadly I were not lucky with the lottery. even before my upgrade (old card was a 2080Ti) i were stuck at 4,9 if my temps were to stay under 95c So you think a 13600/13700 is a better upgrade path than the 7800x3d for pure gaming ?
  2. My Vr rig is running a 2080TI so not quite as bad mixup
  3. that's the exact same games i am having the same issue with ... damit hell let loose is almost unplayable unless i hide in a bush and have no view distance
  4. yep it getts hotter than hell, but it keeps its clock. i think it peaked at 90c
  5. it seems to be my 1%lows that are horribly low, and it happens a lot. when flying in Battlefield i get 140-200 fps, and then 20 and then 200 again. its extremely frustrating. and keeps getting my poor pilots killed this is happening in full resolution on ultra settings no RT, with and without DLSS i have tried removing my OC, that made it worse. and i have done a complete reinstall only installing the essentials and still having the same issue. other games like Hogwarts Legacy run fine
  6. Hi every one, i have a pc running i9-9900k oc 4,9 all core (best i cant get out of it with my 360 AIO) 32gb DDR 4 3200mhz RTX 4090 Windforce MEG Z390 ACE AW3423DW monitor I am experiencing quite a few drops in fps in all kind of games. even if my CPU seems to be doing fine(about 20-30% util) examples are Borderlands 3 were i get fps drops down to 15 if there a lot going on, same with BF and COD I have just done a complete format/reinstall and ofc. updated all my drivers, bios and so on. is my lovely i9-9900k bottlenecking me so bad that i get these fps drops? I am thinking about upgrading to a 7800x3d and putting my i9 in my VR rig, but is the upgrade realy worth it? What are your options ?
  7. i am looking at the MSI Meg Ace z390 and the ASRock Z390 Taichi Ultimate cant realy chose tho
  8. sadly they are all sold out in my area and i need it today :(
  9. It's a 2080ti ? and I'm gooing that way for pure power I know it's not bang for the buck it's just an insane piece of kit
  10. Hi guys, I'm building a new pc today this is most af the parts gooing into it. I am going for a top of the line gaming pc. I will need to find a new mainboard so I am looking for your ideas on this. Lacking in the list is I'm buying a 360 aio cpu cooler and upgrading the ram to 3600 if you got rekomandatioms on ram as well i am all ears ?
  11. Hey guys it's time for a new pc, I am. Buying it today, I'm getting a i9-9900k - 32gb 3600mhz ram - 1tb 970 evo and a 2080ti strix But I am looking for the best mainboard highend, but not insane ? I were looking at Arous master. But it's not in stock. What is you guys 2 cents?
  12. ah might be because i use google docs to check my spelling anyways i were also thinking about waiting especially because the RTX cards really did not impress

  14. Hi guys, I am thinking about a major upgrade to my system. But before i do anything i just wanted to run it by you guys I have a system running a i7-4790k with a noctura d14 (can't overclock it to more than 4.4 really lost the lottery on this chip) and i am running a Asus Hero VII with 16 gigs of ram and a 1080 graphics card at the moment . My system is primarily used for gaming about 90% (bf and the sorts) but i also do abit of blender and the sorts (about 5%). i'm running a XB270H(144hz 1080p) but thinking about going 2k in the nearish future. i am upgrading because my system is a bit unstable and i got some money to do so. .. What i have been thinking about is i9-9900k/i9-8700k - ASUS PRIME Z390-P - Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 DC 16GB - MSI GeForce RTX 2080 VENTUS and a NZXT Kraken X62 RGB Or just going straight for a 2080ti and sticking with my i7-4790k any sugestions or inputs on this?
  15. well i do get bsod's and crashes and the only reason i can find is heat from the cpu as i said it happens when loading maps in BF1 and V in the beta
  16. altho i also got the bluescreen playing Bf1 but only between maps, starting the game everything worked fine, playing the game again everthing is fine. But as soon as the map were over BOOM bsod super wierd
  17. yer sadly im out of trail on Aida but i tryed OCCT and that seems fine. Still hotter than what i were expecting but nowere near p95 temps i get about 80c with small data sets
  18. Hmm still overheats like it's no one's business. Im gonna buy a new cooler (buying a h115i) tomorrow and crossing my fingers that that will sove the problem. If not I have no idear what to do
  19. Thanks guys i will let you know how it goes
  20. i checked the voltage under load and i locked in in at 1.1 at 44 multiplier and it still overheated
  21. my voltages were at 1.26 when i were abusing it the most The thermalpaste was thermal grizzly quite old, but still "liquid" i will try some new paste and i will press it down more and see if that helps
  22. Hey Guys, i am having quite a lot of issues with my rig at the moment. I'm running a 4790k on a Asus Hero Vii motherboard just updated to the newest driver (as part of my own troubleshooting) I am running it at stock speed at the moment but even at stock speed if i run Prime95 small fft my CPU goes from 35-40 with no load to about 80 and after a minute or 2 it goes to 100 and shuts down with a BSOD Clock_watchdog It's on a Noctua nh-d14, windows 10 and i have ofc. Updated all drivers i can think off. i even did a clean windows install to no avail. i can disable turbo on it so its stuck on 3.9ghz and lock in the voltage at 1.000. And then the cooler keeps it at about 60 degrees c. I have also re-applied new thermal paste. I hope you guys have an idear because im at a loss.
