  1. I don't have a spare gpu sadly, but I'm thinking if the problem persists by this friday when I get paid, I'll buy a new gpu and motherboard since I was needing to upgrade some time anyway. I have most of the space on my ssd free, out of 240gb 170 is free. My HDD is running kinda low at about 30% free but idk if that'd cause it. Thanks for the linux tip too, I hadn't thought about that but sometime tomorrow when I get home I'll try and install it to see what happens
  2. Whats up LTT forum, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a freezing issue I've been having on my pc. My specs are: Ryzen 2600 RX 580 Team T-Force Delta RGB 16gb ram Asus TUF b450m plus mobo Patriot Burst 240gb sata III ssd seagate barracuda 2tb hdd evga supernova 750 G+ psu Ok, so here's my problem. Starting a few weeks ago my computer will randomly just freeze, the fans and everything are still running, but I have to hard reset to do anything again. It happened more and more until I reinstalled windows and then it was good for a while before happening again. I've been told conflicting answers on whether it's a hardware or software issue and I wanna narrow it down before I spend a bunch of money on new components unnecessarily. It stays on for way longer if I leave my pc off overnight/for a few hours; and If I leave my pc on without resetting it it will get really hot too. That made me think it was a heating issue but it's not hot at all when it first freezes up, and I've monitored the temps and cpu/ram usage before the lock ups and everything seems normal up till then. I'd also like to add it's never actually froze during gameplay at all yet either. That's the hardware side, for the software side I've been told any number of drivers can cause that pretty much, and I've been making sure everythings up to date to no avail. Appreciate any ideas and help, I'll continue to make sure my drivers/software is fine as I monitor this thread, thanks!
  3. I have no idea what the SWAT game type is like in Halo or whatever, but a game with great tactical and team based game play is SWAT 4.
  4. Thanks for those benchmarks, I wasn't too sure if an i5 would be worth it but it's pretty clear it is.
  5. @SteveGrabowski0 Is there a big enough difference In performance to spend the extra buckaroos for an i5 though?
  6. Here's my build so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ZomBIEKAI/saved/PrWRsY But I'm not sure if my current mobo is that good. I want to generally stay in the around 500- sub 600 range. What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated.
  7. You honestly should have known of the dangers that come with cloning, if it has a duplicate bill gates seal of approval, (Windows 10 is smarter than 8) it's gonna know when you have a pirated hdd/ssd and a cracked boot order. Cloners get what they deserve. Smh tbh fam.
  8. I haven't found many suggestions here, would this kind of topic be aloud in the console/pc gaming sections?
  9. While I commend AMD for wanting to be better, I think it'd be pretty hard to compete with Intel.
  10. I don't think any of us know how to use sfm, though I did think about using CS4 and making an animation Lol It has to be more informative than that
  11. Whats up LTT community, I would like your help in a school project me and a few friends are doing. We're doing our final project for Biology and we need help relating it to biology. Right now we have an idea to use Minecraft for ecology, but we need some help relating Biology to other things like video games, movies, etc. Any help would be gratefully accepted. We are doing four subjects: Ecology Sexual Reproduction Genetics Natural Selection We need these all to be transitioned into each other, but their order doesn't really matter.
  12. If I'd of done this, I think that's the extent of what I would've done. You sir, are pretty good.
