  1. Awesome job dude. You have put some hard work into that. Congrats on your final result, you have a bright future ahead of you haha!
  2. Awesome project! I made a bed for my major work a few years ago, wish I did something like this. Is that your school workshop with festool track saws and dust extractors and a CNC machine? That stuff is better than the stuff I use in my joinery workshop!! Nice school I guess. Just wondering who you use for parts? I hop between mwave, PCCG and MSY. Also would love to read your portfolio when you are all done if that isn't too much drama! Keep up the good work mate
  3. Don't get me wrong, I can drive my 4k monitor at very high settings and it looks amazing but jumping from 1080 to 4k scaling, I literally can't see screen elements or my mouse in games. I change the resolution to 1440p in all my games now and its that perfect sweet spot I don't mind waiting either, I'll hold out to see how the market pans out, thanks for the advice
  4. After completing my build with a 4k monitor I've come to realise a little to late 1440p is the way to go. Just wondering if there are any monitors that you could recommend that would be better overall than the ROG swift. It just looks so good, 144hz, 1440p, GSync and Linus' personal tick of approval. I will be wall mounting so the stand LEDs/Looks don't bother me. I really can't fault it. I have the budget for anything under ridiculous. Thanks
  5. Thanks for the advice guys. I will switch the rad fans to pull exhaust, and the case in sitting in a carpeted room but I have a piece of melamine it is sitting on so it is raised/not pulling in dust from carpet. Cheers
  6. I have the Enthoo Pro decked out in all Noctua fans. I am thinking I have not quite optimized intake/outake as my CPU runs 45 idle (admittedly it's Australian summer and the room temp is always ~30). However I am not sure about my positive air pressure. I have 2 140's on the front as intake, 2 120's behind the HDD cages also intake. 2 140's on the rad in a pull setup as intake on the top of the case (what I'm not sure about, I'm pretty sure I recall Linus' video about pull being better than push). And a 140 as exhaust on the back. My main concern is should my rad fans on the top be in a pull (or push?) exhaust setup? My PSU fan in facing downwards if that helps. Thanks
  7. Anyone else have some suggestions? I'm lost here
  8. This is the only information the monitor shows about it. I cannot adjust that information
  9. Sorry forgot to mention, using DP 1.2 - and monitor is set to DP 1.2 as well
  10. So since I've had my AOC 4k monitor (which is specced to run 60hz) I haven't been able to get it to run 60hz at all. It is currently running 30 no problem, but when I switch to anything higher than 30 it just black screens and I have to revert using my second 1080p monitor. I have no idea how to fix this and am in need of some assistance. I have 2x GTX 970's powering it so there should be absolutely no problem there. Thanks
  11. Currently, with my 6 fans running, all Noctua minus the 200 case fan, it runs silently (exception of hearing air move but thats fine) silence I meant that you don't hear whining that alot of low end fans have. My 200 doesn't pull in much air at all for the 120's to continue to pull that into the bulk of the case. My 2 140's on the top (for the rad) pull in a massive amount of air, while doing so silently. Reason for silence is I'm in a studio granny flat and once my fiance wants to sleep the whining of fans obviously is annoying, but air isn't an issue as being in Australia we have 3 fans running 24/7 to keep us cool lol. So the added noise of air moving is unnoticeable. Anyway, it really is BeQuiet vs Noctua for me right now
  12. Hi I'm running my build in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro with a Dual 140 rad on top with Noctua's in pull config, a Noctua 140mm exhausting the case, 2 120's on the back of the HDD cage. My issue is that the 200mm that comes with the case isn't drawing enough air for my liking so I want to replace the front fan with 2 140's. My question is do I get 2 more Noctua's or I'm thinking BeQuiet's silent wings. Noise is a massive issue for me. Also, I have 2 JetFlo 140's that came with my AIO liquid cooler, but I've heard they run loud. Any suggestions appreciated
  13. The ASUS 5 way optimization software gives me a warning to install the MEI driver on boot, but I can't find it anywhere? I have a ASUS Z97 Deluxe board and an i7 4970k. Would someone be able to locate them for me? Many thanks - Jake
