  1. Hi, thanks for that. I forgot to mention, I will be getting an SSD, a lower end video card is fine for this build, just confused about Intel as their products are all over the place at the moment. Should i go for i5/i7 or Xeon?
  2. Hi, I am building a pc for use at work, and would like some help with the specs. I am unsure of which processor/CPU combination to choose at the Intel line-up is extremely confusing at the moment. The PC has around a £750 budget, excluding the monitor (which I already have). The computer will be used for mainly for the Adobe suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, etc (but not video editing), outlook, and chrome with many tabs! It will need to be mid range to handle multiple applications smoothly. Current decided specs: Monitor: Asus 1440p PLS monitor. Graphics Card: A 1050, or something similar around the £130 range. Case: Preferably Mini/Micro ATX RAM: 16gb, whichever is the cheapest available Any suggestions for the CPU/Motherboard combination would be appreciated, thanks.
  3. Thanks for all the useful information that allows me to make informed choices when picking out computer hardware. Also the weekly show is awesome, I love to watch the archive Saturday morning with a coffee.
  4. I am not buying this game because it doesn't work properly. Screw Watch Dogs.
  5. Both are awesome and have different appeals. I owned a K90 and have a Shine 3 at the moment, both are quality products. It just comes down to preference.
  6. I love watching on Saturday morning with a coffee instead of late Friday night when I'm drunk and/or tired. So I'm fine with the time, and the speediness that its uploaded.

  8. I have somewhat limited knowledge but the PB278Q is so awesome. Like the above poster said, great with Photoshop and any other productivity work.
  9. I think he should be looking at a better headset, with the sound card being secondary.
  10. My girlfriend bought me a controller to use with my android phone. I have been playing tonnes of emulators, but most importantly Goldeneye 64. So damn good.
  11. Corsair K95/K70 or Ducky Shine 3 are all excellent choices. You will enjoy whichever you choose so I wouldn't ponder too much about which to get. Just get whichever you like the look of and your guaranteed a great time
  12. I would just stick with directx. Mantle just doesn't work properly. .
  13. Hi welcome to the forums, enjoy building your pc!
  14. Not sure many stockists in North Korea will have them.
  15. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004NRNMII/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=electronics These are suprisingly awesome and well within your price range.
  16. Unlucky I think you still will think its good value for money though.
  17. Im not particularly into sports or e-sports, but I just can't take competitive gaming seriously at all. It seems unfortunate to call it e-sports. I don't think its a bad thing and its cool if people are into it, but it shouldn't be compared to playing an actual sport.
  18. I refuse to believe that its going to be nothing less than the best game ever
  19. I used windows 8 for the first time at work today. It was a horrific experience just finding the control panel. Just thought Id share that.
  20. If its a good deal then give it a go. This game doesn't sit anywhere above average though.
  21. The arguement about the Razer mechanical switches went on for a while, and they both looked exhausted afterwards.
  22. If you are really interested in something then I would say that the most relevant course is the best way to go. As long as you keep learning and enjoy what your doing, then it doesn't really matter whether its college or university. Just don't do nothing
  23. Toejam & Earl, awesome for co-op.
  24. I bought white caps for the Shine 3 but found that the labelling for the lighting effects was actually for the Shine 2, thats something to look out for as some sites don't specify which version they are for.
