    Its a bit of an older topic, but i can confirm that it is coil whine... Because i have the same GPU ( MSI GTX660tiPE) and it only Coil Whines while folding. No Coil Whine at all, while Gaming, Benchmarks, Stress Test and so on... Undervolting or Downclocking the GPU doesnt help much, it only makes the whining nois sound deeper the more you downclock it... Maybe someone has an answer to slove the problem ,because it drives me crazy...

    So i bumped up the fans of the card manually, and it seems to be stable at 1.2 Ghz Core Clock... Now the ram is in progress.. Thanks for your help!

    So room temperature is 21 degrees C. I do not thinks the fans are the problem, because i have a very well ventilatet case..

    So i tried this overclock.. Same problem , Open Gl lost connection after 30 sec. kombustor testing.. could it be that i have a bad card?

    Thanks for the quick answer.. Should i max out memory and Aux voltage too? What would be a good overclock for this card?

    Hi folks, I'm having trouble to overclock my GTX660ti...and wonder if you guys can help me ;) Im a noob in GPU overclocking btw.. :D To overclock the card i use MSI Afterburner. For Stresstest im using Kombustor and theValley Benchmark.. So i've found some theards wich show how to overcklock the card.. And i tried the settings that Linus uses in his Benchmark videos.. The problem is everytime i try to overclock the card and run Kombustor the "OpenGL" Graphics card driver stos working... So this is one of the overcklocks i tried: Please Help me, i know im a noob, but i really want to overclock this card, because everyone says that this paticular card is a overcklocking beast?!
