As some of you might already know, Origin PC announced a few days ago that they will be removing AMD based graphics cards from their systems as an option due to technical support feedback, as it turns out that's not the reason why they did it according to Charlie Demerjian.

According to the industry veteran, what happened was purely for marketing reasons, to deflect away attention from AMD's recent market resurgence.
When you run out of real bullets, you start firing blanks & that's exactly what happened, Nvidia does not have any new products to compete profitably with the R9 290 series, Nvidia's $600+ products utilize the GK110 chip which is significantly larger & thus more expensive to manufacture than AMD's Hawaii chips in the R9 290 series so to avoid slashing prices Nvidia has to fire up its powerful marketing mechanism.

I've been telling my local cable provider every time they call me with some deal that I'll be a happy subscriber when they support cable card but until then I'm not giving them a penny. They didn't listen. I guess they though I'd cave. Who's going to be the one to cave now?
Tired of their anti-consumer bs. Good riddance.

Well, There are some things that aren't explained in the article:
The OS could have been doing something in the background, like downloading an update. The PS4's OS is supposedly "linux like" . There are two chips in the PS4. So let me put it this was The AMD APU ( 8 core CPU + GPU) is the main chip which which has available 8 Gb of GDDR5 Memory.
But, there is also a secondary "dual core" processor on the system which also handles background tasks and the presumably the OS. Now the CPU and APU should  (not necessarily) have 2 different memory banks.
 
AKA one CPU can't access another CPUs memory on its own data bus (unless there is some UMA (Unified Memory Access) implemented(which I doubt.))
 
Conclusion:
So theoretically the OS memory should be separate from the 8Gb GDDR5. If that is the case then why are people freaking out over how much memory the OS requests? Plus when you will play a game on the PS4 the OS should hopefully "go to sleep" per say because of a hardware "Hypervisior" ( the same thing happens on the PS3, so it is safe to assume the same for the PS4.)

If your budget is SUPER tight, I've personal experience with the SteelSeries Siberia V2, and they were pretty good. Lots of different color and connection options as well.

Yeah she got pwned if she only gets $50k out of this...

This was on cooler masters Facebook page the other day a caused a storm of Intel hate, They took it off after a few hours and put an apology up LOL, sorry if this has been posted already but search did not show anything..
