  1. I have a battle-worn Razer set, a blackwidow and a deathadder, both of which are starting to fail in slight ways. Been looking at maybe replacing them, and I'm going to be looking at Feenix as well as Corsair and Logitech now! I also have a large cloth mousepad, I think it's corsair? Needs to be washed. And my lovely HyperX Clouds that I bought (using LTT amazon link) because of Linus' review!
  2. Because my TV is awful and I've been looking for a replacement!
  3. Champaign Computer Consulting just called me, and told me that they fixed it! They said that the GPU worked fine, but there was a weird BIOS issue. They downgraded, then updated it to F18. I'll know for sure once I get it, but they did an excellent job! So, if you're having this problem, update your damn BIOS, like what the stickied threads all say!
  4. My girlfriend has a 650Ti, and thus doesn't have a power supply beefy enough to help. I gave up, and dropped off my computer at the least jamoke local shop I could find, Champaign Computer Consulting. They're going to test if my GPU is RIP for a nominal fee, and I will be reporting back any results. At this point, I think it's the BIOS update. I've never done one, it seems both scary and easy.
  5. PSU calculator recommends 450W, and my PSU is 550W. I live in Urbana, IL and I wish I were lucky enough to have a NCIX... best I have is Best Buy, and some local jamoke shops. Probably not a bad idea, though.
  6. Haven't tried clearing CMOS--trying now.
  7. Recently, my old video card in my computer stopped working, and after some troubleshooting, RMA’d it to MSI. I’ve been running integrated graphics and have been exiled to my old Macbook MSI was very kind, and upgraded me to a R9 380 4GB! It arrived today, but… I haven’t been able to get it to work. Here’s what’s going on, when I plug in the power from my modular power supply, the graphics card lights up, and my motherboard gets stuck on code 97, “Console Output devices connect (ex. Monitor is lighted).” Oddly, if I only plug in one of the two 6-pin power plugs into the video card, I get past 97, and go to A0, “IDE initialization is started”. This happens in multiple PCI slots. Computer POSTs and works great if I use onboard video. I’ve reseated the 380 about a few dozen times, because I really miss my video games Would it be the BIOS version? My motherboard is currently flashed to F11, when F18 is the latest non-beta. I don’t want to flash just to upgrade, but if the upgrade will make my computer work, then that’d be awesome. Would it be the power supply? I’m halfway into my warranty, but I don’t know how to test this. It could be the modular power cable, which would be a cheap replacement, but I kind of want to rule that out, as my partner’s 650 Ti worked fine in my system during the pre-RMA checklist. Thank you so much for the help!
