  1. I have 2 3TB HDD's setup in mirror with Windows storage pool. It's incredibly slow to load my raw camera files as the thumbnail caches don't seem to be saved. Is there anyway to make it faster? Obviously if i used SSD's it would load faster, but is there anyway i could somehow cache the thumbnails? Any suggestions on how to have storage system for loading files faster id be open to hear about, if needing to buy new equipment. Thanks,
  2. The only issue with running it at the 2933 frequency with my ram is that there's a crackling noise created then in my speakers which seems to be caused by the XMP profile. So don't know how to fix that. If anyone else has had the same crackling issues with their speakers with ram and have a solution to a fix.
  3. Even when I tried putting in the same settings the XMP profile had still wouldn't boot. Any suggestions for the settings if I should adjust them?
  4. I tried doing it manually. Note that i typed 1.35 for the voltage and it then made it 1.3662. But still would not boot with these settings. Unless i've done something wrong? Using the 15-15-15-35 timings from G.Skills website RAM Link
  5. not manually. Could try that. What settings would i use for that or find the settings for that?
  6. For months i've never been able to use the XMP profile on my computer to get the full speed out of my ram. I just installed the latest BIOS version on my mobo yesterday and still having issues. MOBO: ASUS Z170-A CPU: i5 6600K RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series F4-3000C15D-16GVR DDR4 3000MHZ PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 80 Plus Gold Every time i turn on the XMP profile, when i go to restart my computer after saving the settings it just sits at a black screen doing nothing. Have to reboot it then turn off the XMP profile to make it work again. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get my RAM at the 3000MHZ speed? Even if i try using the XMP switch on my MOBO it doesn't help. I've also tried enabling the XMP profile then lowered the RAM speed to 2933MHZ and it boots fine, but then there's a horrible crackling noise in my speakers. My edifier speakers are hooked up to a schiit DAC.
  7. So i have this User Form in Excel i've created by clicking on the blue button. Right now i have all available times showing in the Start Time list in the user form The feature im trying to implement is when in the user form, when you make all your selections and make the field selection, based on that selection in the user form if that field location is listed on the excel spread sheet then the time block that is allocated for it (from start time to end time) will be removed from the Start Time section in the User Form. The picture i've added just shows what it would look like. And if you selected a different field it would update the list again. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks, Scheduler Import.xlsm
  8. I got the DAC because i had the issue as well with the onboard audio using an optical cable. EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 PLUS Gold
  9. Build: i5 6600K - not OC'd ASUS Z170-A G.Skill Ripjaws 2x8GB 3000mhz Whenever i enable the XMP profile in the BIOS (running the latest version) then whenever i play music on my computer i get a crackling/pop noise in my speakers. I'm using a DAC for my speakers. But when i disable the XMP profile the crackling/pop noise goes away. Those are the settings with the XMP profile. Any help would be much appreciated
  10. This newer K70 is my dream keyboard. Every single feature I have ever dreamed about in a mechanical keyboard has come true finally!
  11. Such an amazing give away. LOVED THE VIDEO LINUS!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
  12. I just wanted to get it through NCIX for warranty purposes. Just probably be easier to deal with if a problem came up. But also want to see what the new Coolermaster keyboards would be like, but may just go with the Ducky. What is your guys opinions of using keyboards like the Ducky when it doesnt have a built in wrist rest? Is it painful on your wrists that you had to buy a wrist rest, or is it not so bad?
  13. I'm also trying to buy the Shine 2 with Blue Cherry MX and Blue LED back lighting from NCIX. I started a post on the NCIX forum asking for help from a sales rep to help me but no luck so far. That makes two orders at NCIX now for this exact keyboard.
