  1. This device would be good purely as an on/off feature however that's easily done via the router. I completely agree with this though, you need to take away full access to the internet from them otherwise they'll never learn. I probably do the most cruel thing to my nephew and that's if he doesn't answer me within a minute I just go to his computer and turn it off, I don't care if it's an MMO or an RPG with a save point he hasn't got to for over an hour. After well over 10 times of this happening he now pauses the game and does what he's told to as he doesn't want to lose his data. There still is the odd occasion where he doesn't do as he's told in which case I take away access of even computers from him. In regards to someone saying that about drugs earlier. I used to work in a Pharmacy for over 4 years and stopping drugs (especially Methadone, Buprenorphine, and other similar drugs could potentially kill this person in question due to the extensive withdrawal symptoms. There has been a case where a certain patient we had did not come to the shop for about 3 days, and not having 3 days of ~40ml of Methadone almost killed that person, they had to be taken to hospital as they had collapsed through hyperhidrosis. What I'm trying to say is stopping drugs != the same as child discipline. However throttling does not work in the slightest, I have already tried that with my nephew for several months and in the end I just simply block his devices from the router instead.
  2. This is something that's been happening for the last month and I can't seem to figure out why. Every time I boot up windows I make sure that my peripherals are not plugged in, so that's my Asus Xtion Pro Live, my Logitech G13, and my PS4 controller (DS4 Windows). Once Windows loads up I go to the Devices control panel and select Game Controllers, in there I have the two sensors on the Asus, the X360 controller (DS4 Windows) and the G13 joystick showing up. This has me completely puzzled as to why that happens. When I plug in the G13 it works and I don't get a duplication in the Game Control Panel, when I plug in the Asus I don't get the extra two sensors in the Game Control Panel, however when I plug in the DS4 I get another X360 controller popping up meaning that it can't be used unless I uninstall the other X360 controller from the Devices and Printers screen, but on reboot it'll be back! This also prevents me from using the controller because the G13's joystick and the Asus sensors are showing up even when disconnected. Has anyone else seen this happen before? Everything was fine before and I can't think of anything that could have caused this from happening as I haven't installed anything around that time to make this happen.
  3. Don't get the K95, get the K70 RGB (same price) instead. It might not have macro keys but every key on the keyboard can be used as a macro which negates the need for separate macro keys in the first place. Also the new RGB Corsair keyboards have ESD shielding to prevent LED death. As these are RGB keyboards then you can have the keys any colour or shade you like.
  4. Or you could go the super cheap and inexpensive route of simply purchasing o rings instead, this should dampen the bottoming out considerably.
  5. I have my left windows key set to hold-toggle, so when I press that key down every key on my keyboard changes to something completely different after I set the desired macro for that key. It means that during gameplay or even other application work I can simply hold that key plus press another key to instantiate a macro instantly without having to take my hand off the keyboard. I would've gone for the K95 but with this feature I've found that this macro setup has fully negated the need of any separate macro keys for good. I wouldn't get a K70 or a K95 without RGB anyway, I used to own the Vengeance K95 and I had to RMA it several times due to dead LEDs, it's the reason Corsair got first dibs on the new Cherry switches with ESD shielding.
  6. I'm not sure how the lights are a downside to the K70 considering that you can make rainbow colours plus a billion other combinations. Also it might not have macro keys but there's a certain something that makes it better than just having macro keys, every key is a macro key! *hugs K70* I love my keyboard.
  7. I tried using blacks but half the time my fingers would tire out as well as a lot of the time keys wouldn't register because they wouldn't register, so reds were perfect for me because I am a very very very light typer.
  8. You already have a PS4 so just use a PS4 controller, connect it via USB, install DS4Windows and Bobs your uncle. With that installed it'll think that your PS4 controller is an XBox 360 controller with the added bonus of allowing you to use the touchpad.
  9. It showed me reds and I am currently using reds so that's perfect for me. I hate hard to press keys and low keys too which is why I went for reds in the first place. I do need to pick up some O rings though to make things even more quieter.
  10. Or better yet: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Logitech-Driving-Force-GT-941-000019-Racing-Wheels-/121491979342?pt=UK_Controllers_Attachments&hash=item1c497c7c4e
  11. Pick yourself up a Logitech Driving Force GT on eBay for about £50, there's plenty going for that price on there and I wouldn't settle for a wheel any less than that.
  12. AA won't work in cutscenes if that's what you're thinking, the reason is because it's FMV and was rendered at 720p, other than that though at 4K the game doesn't need any AA, it just looks stunning.
  13. How much are you willing to spend? You can get a 27" IPS monitor for £320 @ 1440p, or you can pick up a 24" IPS 1080p monitor for £125. What's your current budget?
