  1. I am currently looking to upgrade from my aoc 24g2 and wanted to try 1440p. Im trying to decide which monitor is best for me. Honestly would love to try mini led since i also use my monitor to watch movies a lot and 240hz isn't a big deal for me with the LG. What are your thoughts on both monitors?
  2. I tend to trust manufacturer refurbished as i have bought laptops from dell outlet and had a good experience. Matter of fact, I had a better experience than when i bough an xps new, I assume this is due to a 2nd quality control check. This listin says it is directly from razer and has a 2 year warranty, is it worth trusting?
  3. Budget: 1600USD Overall Use- Light video editing on premiere pro, 1080p gaming mostly valorant, nfs heat, battlefield I'll start off with some background knowledge, I am in med school so a small device that i can used in small areas would be useful and i game at 1080p, 60fps is fine, I only need 144hz on e-sports titles. I used to have an xps 9575 and tried to replace it with a xps 9500 but it was defective and i have returned it and am awaiting a refund. This got me quite fed up and I have been wanting a desktop for quite some time. However due to the chip shortage, building my own is not the best idea so I was currently looking at ABS systems on newegg but it looks like i would have to change the cpu cooler , case and psu if i go that route. I also began to look at building a pc on cyberpowerpc but I am worried about something not working as I do not reside in the states. I planned to supplement this system with a surface pro 7 i5 from ebay to carry to school and just watch Netflix around the house but i have seen some over heating issues. I really dislike bulky gaming laptops hence I had an xps, I was thinking about razer but I see many posts that they break quickly and the warranty is garbage. Would you guys agree that a tablet and desktop is the best option for me or are there any other thin and light laptops capable of gaming that you recommend?
  4. Budget (including currency): 1000usd Country: Usa Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1080p gaming like valorant, battlefield, warzone and light video editing premiere pro Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): i have peripherals and a monitor already. I will play at 1080p and 60hz is fine for most games 144hz in valorant and other e-sport titles I currently found this on newegg and heard that abs prebuilt are pretty good, with a coupon i could end up getting this for 880. What do you think of this prebuilt and do you have any better recommendations? https://www.newegg.com/abs-ala242-master/p/N82E16883360146R?Item=N82E16883360146R
  5. I am currently looking for a prebuilt system under 1000usd. I heard abs was pretty good and found this. I would play at 1080p, 60fps is fine for most games and do light video editing with premiere pro. What are your thoughts on the pc linked below and do you know of any better deals at this price point? https://www.newegg.com/abs-ala242-master/p/N82E16883360146R?Item=N82E16883360146R&Description=abs&cm_re=abs-_-83-360-146R-_-Product

  8. My new macbook air screen began to look like this all of a sudden, Is there any fix? I bought this in August so I am wondering if I am still under warranty.
  9. https://deals.dell.com/en-us/productdetail/a8qp or https://www.ebay.com/itm/304032708760 With gpu prices so ridiculous rn, I rather not build a pc. Which of these is better or is there anything definitively better for my budget?
  10. Alright i checked, my gpu is being throttled down from 40w to 20w, i tried undervolting in afterburner but i am stilling throttling. Do I have any other options?
  11. https://pastebin.com/h8dqGmBu In reviews i see the cpu throttling to 15 w but the gpu sustains 40w so idk what is happening with mine
  12. Would you prefer if i send you the log file with stock settings and then you tell me what settings you would suggest?. I currently tried disabling turbo in the bios and limiting the cpu to 4 cores and applying a -300 core clock to the gpu but i am still getting temperature and power limits even at 55 degrees.
  13. The strangest thing is in the morning, i played with no throttling for an hour but tonight its back. Here is the log file and screenshots 2021-09-05.txt
  14. I just bought a brand new xps 9500 and after 15minutes of gaming (DMC V) my frames tank to 30/20 frames. I tried disabling turbo and when i checked throttlestop, I was not getting the throttling warning but my gpu was maxxed at 100%. Any ideas what could be causing this and is there any work around? Even my previous xps 9575 performed better.
