  1. This is the stock terminal, however i did take it off and remounted it after finding that the custom terminal i got isnt compatible. Then i remounted it again after first discovering the leak, just to be sure. The o-rings seem perfectly fine, the terminal was tightened properly and im not sure what else i could do about it. By the way, i also noticed this. Liquid that seems to have gotten in between the plexi and the plate for the block, but outside where it should be. This might have happened after i started messing with things or demounted the terminals, though. So that is probably my doing. Anyways, i guess i could try to RMA or something like that.. dont have a whole lot of options.
  2. So i just assembled my loop, and started filling. As soon as the fluid reached the first GPU block, it started to drip from somewhere. It looks like it is coming from either between the terminal and the block, or the block itself. It kinda looked like the bolt closest to the terminal but i dont think that is possible. As for the terminal, gaskets are proper and in place, and it is on tight.. Any ideas on what i could do, or might i need to replace it? Block is from EK, the newest one for ASUS Strix cards.
  3. Ok, i have made some modifications. How does this look? 4. So based on the suggestions so far, this is what i have come up with, while still using the parts that my friend could sell me. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zMcsjX Would this look good so far?
  5. It does somehow say that in my original post, but i would say preferably around $1500, with a 2000 maximum.
  6. He said something about $500 for the parts, but i checked online and i think that was a bit high. I might get him to take it down to 400 or so. Although, i could of course just go for something all-new too, which might end up being better and cheaper. So 8 GB of RAM instead of 16, and preferably at least one of the 6-core CPU's?
  7. Hi guys, i have wanted to get a own PC for a long time, and the time might finally have come.. I got an offer from a friend who wants to sell some of his used PC parts for a nice price, and i figured i might as well buy those and then buy the other parts i would need and build it. So, he is offering me a 750 watt PSU, 2x Radeon HD 6970 and a CoolerMaster Cosmos. I have been looking a bit, and my complete idea would be something like this: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($169.98 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($99.99 @ Newegg) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($91.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($72.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($79.98 @ OutletPC) Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 6970 2GB Video Card (2-Way CrossFire) ($199.48 @ Amazon) Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 6970 2GB Video Card (2-Way CrossFire) ($199.48 @ Amazon) Case: Cooler Master COSMOS SE ATX Mid Tower Case ($79.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($89.99 @ NCIX US) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64-bit (OEM) (64-bit) ($90.26 @ OutletPC) Monitor: Acer H236HLbid 60Hz 23.0" Monitor ($149.00 @ B&H) Keyboard: Logitech G710 Wired Gaming Keyboard ($109.95 @ Amazon) Mouse: Logitech G502 Wired Optical Mouse ($78.69 @ Amazon) Total: $1486.77 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-11-18 12:47 EST-0500 (The list above will be updated whenever there are any changes) I realize there is no cooling, fans or anything included here, except the case fans, i would like some help with that too. What kind of cooling would i need? Do i need a CPU cooler too? Etc. Also a problem: Is the 750W PSU sufficient for this build? I have looked into that and i am not sure. Any ideas, suggestions, problems, anything? Everything can be changed really, feel free to do so. I just thought it would be nice to start of with that what my friend was offering me, but i can go away from that. Try to keep it around $1500, with a maximum of up to around $2000 (total prices, including monitor, keyboard, mouse and OS) I have to admit i do not know everything (or enough) about building computers, so i really appreciate any help i can get. Thanks
