The 3dprinting subreddit on reddit is a great resource for recommendations (they have a purchase advice thread pinned at the top) and is where I got my recommendation for my Ender 3 two years ago.

I am looking for recommendations for external hard drives. I've been looking at the WD My passport and Elements and also the Seagate expansion drives. They all seem to have quite a high percentage of bad reviews (on Amazon) about the drives failing etc, this makes me weary on getting either of them. I am looking for a size of about 2TB and the highest I'd like to go is around £70 Can anyone recommend a drive, even if it's one of the ones I've mentioned? Edit: Ended up going with a WD Element 2TB.

So I am wondering what everyone uses for encryption?

I decided to use Private Internet Access (PIA) and it's great, my speeds are basically the same which is great.

Over the ear headphones always make my ears sweat after a short amount of time so I've always used earbuds. What are my options if I wanted to get some high quality over the ear headphones?

Tunnelbear looks to be a good option and I've also had a brief look at Private Internet Access but I'm just wondering what everyone else uses?

Yeah they do, which is very annoying when wanting to access a wired device over WiFi, one particular router would just randomly seperate them without any setting change, only a reset would fix it. As others have said it should work if your router is set up to not seperate them but latency might be an issue.

For me the game does not live up to the hype, I can't really remember why as I haven't played it in ages, I stupidly bought it for £50 and didn't know you could refund on Origin at that point, I was sucked in by the hype.

You can't delete anything on your hard drive? Then maybe wait a little while and save some more, I know it's hard to do but it'll be better.

This is exactly what I did when I first built my PC, 250GB SSD for the OS and a 1TB hard drive for games and such, works great, eventually I upgraded it to a 3TB HDD.

I did just think about that, you could use a 2.5" drive which are a bit more than their 3.5" counterpart but not too bad, your idea might be an option too.

Id love to build in a case like this but it's the storage options that stop me, with no 3.5" drive support, storage is gonna be expensive if you want anything above 500gb.

So I just watched this video from JayzTwoCents about this interesting and tiny SFF Case, The LOUQE Ghost S1. I love SFF cases like this (well I love looking at them, haven't actually built one myself but maybe one day) This one seems to be pretty good, You can check out their product page and Kickstarter for more information on it, it's also modular. What are everyone's opinions on the Steel Series Apex M750?

Thanks, I am thinking of getting the be quiet! - Pure Wings 2 Non PWM because of their low noise level (I know I can get some noctuas for even lower noise but I dont want to spend £20 on one fan)

So I am thinking the glorious modular mechanical keyboard and it has a US layout, I live in the UK, I think I am just going to deal with it because I love everything about the keyboard and have evaluated other options. How can I change the windows settings so that when I press the dollar sign it shows a pound?

So im wondering whether I really need PWM case fans because I am under the impression that non PWM ones can just be voltage controlled because my current case fans are 3-pin and they can be controlled between 50-100% depending on the temperature.

So I start my PC and once I get to the desktop, It makes the device connected sound every time How can I try and find out why it is doing this?

According to this guide a quick registry edit will sort it, I haven't tried it but this TechNet page confirms the string's behaviour, I'll probably just do that, I've always found it annoying anyway This guide did not work for me.

How bad is the optimization?

So I bought Planet Coaster not long after it came out and then refunded it because I wasn't enjoying it that much, I can't remember exactly why, im thinking of checking it out again and I know they've been actively updating it which is good. How are you liking it?

So I have now replaced my CPU cooler with the BE QUIET Pure Rock Slim and I have around a 10 degrees lower CPU idle temp (have not fully tested load temp but it is lower) and it is much quieter than before, I can also now see the CPU fans temperature and control it. Thanks for the help guys

Yes, If I click shutdown and then this screen comes up, if I wait it does eventually just shut down anyway but I am under the impression that this should not even come up?
