  1. Cant find any events like that, trying to reinstall windows now
  2. Hi! Thank you so much, but this did not solve the problem. 60/60/60, same thing happens. I have had this setup for a month and I have played games at 144hz while having crome, stopify, teamspeak and such on both the two other ones with no problem. This happened overnight. 60/144/60 worked yesterday basically.
  3. Update: I tried playing music and force the problem by connecting third monitor. Music keeps playing for about 15 sec before "fading out quick" like spotify does when you pause the music, not a cut like if you shut down or crash the system. Media controlls on my keyboard however dies, so I can`t controll the sound level or mute the music like I can before the bug.
  4. Connecting two monitors works fine, but when I connect my third monitor (any of them, doesnt matter wich one) all of them go black. It does not say "no signal" they just stay black, and pressing the power button doesnt turn of the computer. I have to force it off by holding the button. When the problem occurs it does not fix itself by plugging it out again, i have to restart the computer to fix it. What cable I use doesnt matter either. The problem started for the first time today. I used all three last night, went to bed (turned off the pc) and when I turned it back on today said problem occurs every time I plug the last one in or have all plugged in at startup. If all are plugged in at startup I can see the post message and BIOS stuff, but when Windows starts its all black. I have tried mixing the cables, and I have updated Catalyst drivers. Both the 290X cards work fine when only using two monitors, rolled back to stock clocks and stress tested. Not thermal throttling. 5. Thank you! I will be ordering the 150W 12V 12A AC/DC adapter, the EXP GDC Beast and the 750 Ti Strix for this project then Looking forward to it!
  6. Thanks for the reply! It has the propper connector I know the wattage is enough, but I still worry about if 12 amps will do the trick or not, since other PSUs are rated at 20A+. So basically, 12 amps, does it matter? And is it good enough for the 750 Ti Strix or not? Anyone know? A buddy of mine has one he sells for half the price of a new one so I figured I`d make good use of it in this project
  7. Thanks for the reply! However I was trying to avoid using a full size PSU. The whole point was to see if I could run the 750 Ti Strix on a AC/DC adapter. So straight from the wall to the EXP GDC board with the more mobile adapter. So then if I understand that correctly a 150W 12V 12.5A AC/DC adapter will be fine with this board? But will it be enough juice to power the 750Ti Strix? (this card requires no aditional power trough 6-pin or 8-pin, it gets all the power trough the PCI-E 16x slot, wich then again gets the power from the 150W DC interface if I understand correctly) Will this work out or MUST I use a full size power supply? In that case the whole point of this would be gone since it would look terrible, and is not really as mobile as it could be with the adapter.
  8. So I have a HP ProBook 6560b running Win 8.1 and I wanna play around with it as a project. Updated to latest BIOS (F.42) I am going to buy this ExpressCard to PCI 16x adapter, so I can run a desktop Gtx 750 Ti Strix GPU on my laptop. http://www.banggood.com/EXP-GDC-Laptop-External-PCI-E-Graphics-Card-p-934367.html My question, since my knowledge about power supplies are lacking, is how do I power the 750 Ti Strix with a 12V DC connector? (Asuming I must use 12V since thats what most regular computer PSU uses) The EXP GDC adapters DC interface is rated 150W MAX, but says nothing about amps or volt. (This is where my knowledge is lacking) I was looking at this 150W 12V 12A AC/DC adapter, will this do the trick? Is amps important? And how many amps do I need for the 750 Ti Strix? I know it only needs 75W but the lower watt adapters had less than 12A. http://www.iwill.no/Kabinetter+ITX+%25252F+IPC.146/Tilbeh%F8r.245/Iwill+150W+%2812A%29+12V+AC-DC+adapter.3041.html
  9. Tho I must add that you can not use the 3.5" drive slot with this GPU. You must remove the top 3.5" bracket for the R9 290X Matrix to fit!
  10. If anyone is wondering about the same, I got my hands on a 250D case and tested it and it has 0.5 mm clearance to the top panel. So yes it does BARELY fit! If the tallest part of the GPU were to sit under the window panel it would not have fit because the panel is about 2-3 mm thick downwards, but the tallest part of the card is just past where the panel ends and the steel begins. Its like they were made for eachother <3
  11. Ive been daydreaming about a mineral oil system since the video where you showcased Lukes oil system was uploaded! I dont live in the states, but If I were to win I have friends in the states you could ship it to and they could take care of the rest of the shipping! This is really freaking cool!! Either MATX or Mini ITX would be awesome, but Mini ITX is preferred! Awesome product Puget, I love it!
  12. Well the R9 290X Matrix is not on the list The ref R9 290X is about 11.5cm tall and the R9 290X Matrix is 15.24 He only mentioned the length the case supports, not the height It says the 14.7 cm asus R9 290X will fit, but my ROG R9 290X Matrix card is 15.24 cm. Can anyone with this case please check if it will fit?
  13. Hi! Can anyone who owns a Corsair Obsidian 250D case please measure the length from the pci 16x slot to the top window panel for me? I bought a R9 290X Matrix wich is 15.24 cm high. I have been searching the web for hours and I did not find any meaurements from the mobo to the top panel. If it wont fit I want to cancel the order before it ships on monday!
  14. Today I bought a corsair 250D case, and I will be adding smart glass (if i can find a good place to buy from) to the top window in december! Will post pictures when im done Since the window is so small its gonna be affordable enough I think its gonna look really good. I got a 250D, with the ASUS Z97I-PLUS, R9 290X ROG Matrix, Corsair Dominator Platinum and H100 coler.
