Nope, you can use all three at once. They will use the pcie lanes from the chipset. You can't max both at once, but thats pretty unlikely.

I did not spend TOO much time with it, but I didn't have any problems. I only returned it as I felt the PPI a bit soft for my taste. I think if you're really sensitive to motion blur, you need to forget VA and look at IPS monitors instead. You won't find a VA monitor that doesn't have it.

TN has its flaws, gamma shift, poor colours, viewing angles etc. all exacerbated at that size. In fact, I'm not sure there are many TN panels at 32" actually... most are VA.
 
I would say your best options were one of the LG's... 32GK850G-B, 32GK650F or 32GK850F, or the curved MSI Envit0 mentions above, which is pretty good. MSI have had some decent monitors of late actually, and reasonably priced, so they are well worth a look.

This is the problem with VA panels... they smear. It's largely inherent to the tech, although the LG 32GK850G-B is actually far better in this regard, so that would be worth a look. I had one myself briefly and found it very good, but I did return it, simply because I found the PPI a bit too low coming from 4K. It isn't curved, but you shouldn't let that put you off, because it's definitely one of the best VA panels you can get. Otherwise, I don't think the monitor you seek exists, not in that very specific spec, as every other VA panel will smear, and there are no IPS curved options. You may have to look at smaller monitors, and there are far more 27" size than 32"... and I'd argue that's preferable anyway, unless you have less than perfect vision or the monitor will be at a further distance.
 
Aorus CV27Q is soon to be released and meets your spec albeit in 27" size, but I'm sure will smear. If you're sensitive to this, I think EVERY VA monitor might be a problem for you. But you'd have to try and see.

No, there is absolutely no good news about a £2700 monitor with a VA panel that will likely have all the inherent issues that VA always has, and it is genuinely quite disturbing that anyone's reaction to this would be a positive one, never-mind happily exclaim their intention to purchase one in the complete absence of any review. This is a very bad thing, a very bad thing indeed.

VA panels do suffer from ghosting/smearing. This can be very noticeable in some games, although can be mitigated somewhat by tinkering with the settings. You aren't going to completely illiminate it however, but it will be largely game dependent and it's also subjective to a certain extent... it bothers some people more than others. In fact, some people don't seem to notice it at all... that is until it's pointed out to them, at which point they can never un-see it. VA panels can still suffer from glow also (albeit not as bad as many IPS panels), and BLB. 
 
TN is not as bad as it used to be, but next to VA or IPS it will look more washed out. You're not likely to do this though of course, and if you're not coming from a VA or IPS monitor, then it will probably be fine. If you're ONLY gaming and are sensitive to things like response time, ghosting etc. then TN might be the better choice. For competitive FPS gaming it would be the way to go. There isn't really a right answer here though... you ideally have to try them and just see what you prefer.

The clincher here though is PPI. A 55" and 65" will be noticeably different in sharpness if sat same distance away... given the 55" will have more pixels in an inch of screen real estate. The resolution is unchanged, both being 4K... it's the PPI that differs.
 
A 34" vs 38" UW monitor on the other hand, due to the higher resolution of 38", will have the same PPI... 109 vs 110. This is a good thing as you won't have ANY loss in sharpness sat at the same distance from a 38" as you would be a 34". A 27" 1440p panel is also 109 ppi.
 
What's even more interesting here is how some people are getting all excited for the 43" 4K high refresh A-Sync Asus XG438Q... this will actually have a worse PPI at 104. So in reality, sat the same distance from a 27" 1440p monitor, won't look any better... yet will be MUCH harder to run. It's obviously going to offer greater immersion, and if you want to sit back a bit, yeah, there's something to be said for that... but you'll need a 2080Ti to get the most out of it, that's for sure.
 
Resolution in and of itself doesn't necessarily mean a great deal... PPI is what counts, and in line with that how far you sit from the screen. When it comes to PC monitors, most people will probably be fixed in that regard.

I would LOVE to be a part of this beta test if possible. Here is my just finished build below... I am currently using Darkside UV strips. They are OK, and I have no comparison to anything else, but they are rigid which I am not a fan of. It limits placement, and the cable at the end is very thickly sleeved and wants to twist the strip when mounted. Also, I had to add my own double sided sticky tape to each strip, and even that's not holding it as well as I'd like due to the other end twisting on it. They only give you two stupid little 3cm double sided sticky pads with each strip, which are totally useless in my opinion, but it depends where you want to mount them of course. Also, these are ONLY UV of course, so the Cablemod ones are a great idea with the option for full RGB on top of UV.

This is totally valid. And at risk of taking my own thread off topic ha, it also completely ignores the future benefit that WILL be seen in RTX games. Anyone who thinks RTX won't be levied in some games in the near future is deluding themselves. It MAY not be relevant if those games aren't of interest, but anyone buying a 1080Ti today is taking a gamble on that given we just don't know. Of course, one could argue buying a 2080 is a risk also, if the user never ends up wanting to partake in any of those RTX experiences... but I know where I'd rather put my money, and it isn't on old technology that's already hit its absolute peak, and where I know for a fact that any and all RTX content would be out of bounds for me. I'm not about to willingly exclude myself from something that may be an extremely significant gaming revolution... even if there is a chance it may not. But that's just my own personal stand point on it.

Yes, but also in titles where the 2080 could struggle slightly at 4K (and it will on occassion), DLSS could help get the frame rate up. And as you say, in ray tracing I think it's going to be vital, but we'll be waiting a while to find out on that front.

Interesting on the Corsairs... never even considered them due to a bad experience I had with one years ago. Will take a closer look. The more I think about it, I am liking the idea of SFX though, just due to space and weight saving (I have an ITX board, no HDDs), but I'm aware there aren't really any silent options... yet. The SF600 Platinum purports to be up to about 30% supposedly, but it's not out yet. I'll keep an eye on that as well.
 
To be honest, if I was looking to spend HX1000i money, I'd probably be more inclined to look at the Seasonic Prime Fanless 600W which is about the same price and gets excellent reviews wherever you look.

This is undoubtably the most annoying and infuriating thing that has ever happened to me in 20+ years of PC building. I change my monitor (that's it) and suddenly I cannot install Nvidia drivers with my 1060 6GB. My resolution went all screwy and so I uninstalled them, and I have also run DDU in Safe Mode, tried numerous versions of the Nvidia drivers, the main installer package and via GeForce Experience but each and every time it says it isn't compatible with this version of Windows (10 x64). I JUST HAD THEM INSTALLED FFS SO HOW CAN THEY NOW BE INCOMPATIBLE!!??? 
 
I don't know what more I can do other than re-install Windows at this point, which is going to be a real ball ache!!

The 32GK850G is a very good VA panel by most accounts, and does not suffer badly from many of the issues that others have in the past, overshoot, trailing etc. For a monitor bigger than the standard 27", it's probably one of the better options out there... although we'd all like 4K HDR and high refresh at this size and above of course. We'll be waiting until 2019 for that though, and when it comes it will be insanely priced.

Well that's not true either! When made, tempered glass is cooled down slowly, making it stronger and more impact/scratch resistant compared to non-treated glass. The only real drawbacks are that it can't be re-worked and yeah if it breaks it will smash into many pieces... but that is for obvious safety reasons and what most people would want. It's also why manufacturers will always use it as they don't want to be sued when a customer's kid slices their hand open! I agree it does affect light different and of course is more expensive, but it's pretty clear why for the reasons above.
